Amazing tool
il y a 8 mois
Very high quality tool here. Bought it as a spur of the moment purchase (went in to buy a tape measure, and left with this... and no tape measure). Very happy with it. Basic 1.3/1.5 battery hooked up and you can run this for almost an hour straight without power fade. Friend went and picked up a makita model for almost 3x the price. The dewalt is almost ½ the weight with the same cutting speed and less vibration in your hand and up your arm. Gonna run this till she dies then pickup the newest model to try when the time comes. The quick release attachment system is also top notch. Makes switching out blades a breeze compared to other brands which require removing screws or bolts.
The Dewalt multi tool has to be one of my favorites. So easy to use and gets the job done. This tool can cut through almost anything with ease. When I’m working this tool comes in handy cutting baseboards, making outlet cutouts and notching cabinets in my case. With a nice fresh blade it cuts like butter. Hitting a nail in baseboard? No problem with the power this can deliver you can just push right through. Tight space ? Just rotate the blade with its integrated quick blade disconnect and multi position blade angle head. I would highly recommend this tool for anyone in need of a powerful multi tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tool to aid specifically in redoing some tile work in the master bathroom. It worked phenomenally. I do a good deal of wood working on the side as well and this tool works fantastic at so many different applications its ridiculous. From disassembling pallets in no time to getting some finishing sanding touches on hard to reach places this thing is fantastic. I can't wait to see what new types of addons they come out with for this tool. I would really love to see a metal specific "bit" for this tool as I found it works really well at trimming body panels on vehicles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 months ago because I really needed to trim some screws that had stripped and I thought I might have some other uses for it. Holy cow, I use it all the time. The precision cutting is great, whether it's trimming wood, cutting screws/nails flush or plunge cuts into wood or drywall. It works so fast and smooth, uses the same batteries as my other tools and swapping out the blades takes longer to pick up the new blade than make the change. Feels solid, stable and well built while still being light enough to easily control and use in tight or awkward spaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tool a few years ago and it has become my Swiss army knife for just about any job, whether I need professional results or just a hack job. It slices through drywall like a hot knife through butter and gives me the perfect cutouts I need (provided I measured 3-4 times beforehand). It works great in a pinch for cutting out termite damage when I don't want to replace an entire length of baseboard or trim. Get a metal blade to slice through rusted bolts or screwed that just won't budge any other way. It's a great tool and I don't know how I survived before it. Performs just as well as any brand I've tried it against, and the universal locking mechanism is sure nice so I can use any blade I want. Thanks DeWalt, keep up the great work!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 20v oscillating tool is a perfect tool for finish work with tons of power. It's the most powerful oscillating tool I have, even compared to plug in models. I like the trigger lock feature which holds the trigger down if you need to use a different grip. I even use it for notching trim pieces and scribe cuts. Also this thing has taken quite a beating in my tool bag, and has even been dropped from a ladder, and still works perfectly. With the right blades, this tool can help you out of a jamb, or into a jamb if you're doing flooring :)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best oscillating tool on the market. Its not even up for debate. I've used this one, as well as red, blue, orange, green, and gray. None of them come close. The thing I love about the XR 3-speed Oscillating Multi-tool, and what I think sets it apart from other brands (including orange which is most closely comparable to DeWalt's) is that in addition to the variable speed trigger, you also have the 3 speed switch, which is awesome for setting your speed limit. Additionally, it's really convenient that you can dial in the exact speed you want with the variable trigger, or if you want to lock it on, simply hold the trigger down, them press the lock button and release the trigger. This tool is the best in it's class, and every trade professional should have one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pair this tool with a good blade and it is precise! I recently used this to shave a piece off a cabinet frame since it was a tab too big (maybe 1/16)for a sliding trash bin I made and it was perfect! I'm no professional but I love me some diy and this oscillating tool is definitly getting some use! Also, I've used this to trim a few branches, small ones at that. I know it's not meant for that but it does say multi-tool haha. I haven't used the multiple speed settings yet, I just use this on full blast.
