bluetooth randomly disconnects requiring a power cycle to reset it. decent besides that issue that started at about the 1 year mark. 2amp battery gets you a solid 7-10 hrs of play time. its never been dropped and looks clean enough to be new before anyone thinks it was poor handling, it lived indoors its whole life lol.

Great Speaker !!

Battery life is great I can run this off a 12v 2ah battery ALL DAY !! Amazing. Plus everyone always asks about it because it looks so cool !! Great buy !! You wont regret it !

Shuts off by itself

I bought this to use for my alarm clock but it shuts of after 30 minutes my other DeWalt speaker doesn't do that and my Milwaukee speaker doesn't do it either . If would have known it shuts of after 30 minutes of inactivity i wouldn't have bought it . Only good thing about this speaker is the sound.

Another opportunity missed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why would you make a Bluetooth speaker where you had to remove the battery to use the AC plug. Would it not have made more sense to make it a charger as well so I could charge a battery while listening? Another epic fail on your part DeWalt. Again wishing I went with Milwaukee at this point.

Sounds great!

Good product for what it is, but needs improvement. Unable to plug it in and charge the battery at the same time. I won this radio, I would not have bought this model.
What I really need is a radio that will charge 18v and 20v at the same time and have the ability to plug in other tools.

Great Little Speaker

The AC power cord comes in handy when you don't have a charged battery to use. The first speaker I received, the power cord was loose. I returned it to Home Depot and they sent me another within two days.

Now to be fair I've heard cleaner and better sounding Bluetooth speaker units, but they are much pricer and don't use DeWalt batteries. Plus this matches my tools so I couldn't resist.

I just got my speaker today, such a loud and clear sounding speaker the best part about it you can control what ever device you got connected to it from the speaker itself, can also use 12v and 20v batteries to power it and also corded overall great design DEWALT. A+++.

Powerful little guy

I have been in audio production for 35 years and owned many bluetooth speakers. I must say this little speaker has plenty of power and great sound quality. I was surprised by the amount of bass coming out of such a small set of drivers.

Awesome radio

Durable and loud

I love this job site radio. It’s lightweight and easy to carry to each job. Dust doesn’t seem to bother it and the volume is loud and clear. It lasts a few hours and the Bluetooth connects fast. Definitely would recommend this radio.

Price to quality ratio is ok, rugged design, but sound quality is really poor. I also miss a batt.charge feature. OK, for that money you cannot expect more, but after all it´s still a waste of money. Not recommendable !!

Cool Bluetooth Speaker

This speaker comes through time after time, no problems pairing with my phone so far. This speaker doesn't blare through the room and adds perfectly enough sound to enjoy your music while working. I love my DeWalt speaker!!

The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because there is no storage for cords- if there was a spot for the AC cord and charging cord, there would be 5 stars.

Great while it lasted!

It sounds great , has a built in USB port, so you can charge a phone or whatever , you got 2 places to put your phone on it securely, DeWalt Tough , uses both my 20v and 12v batteries , has more than 200' range .

I purchased this and just took out of box and does not even turn on. This is my 3rd radio from Dewalt and every one works for about 1 week. You should be embarrassed to sell crap like this.

Got the radio thinking less of it and even after dropping it in the little Miami it's solid.. Doesn't charge batteries but a 2 amp battery last days. And modifications are easy.

Got this for Christmas as a gift from the union carpenters worked great for only 5 months then it started turning off. Never got a battery for it only used the power cord.
