I bought this inflator on “BLACK FRIDAY” and I love it, my truck tires were at 32 psi I needed them to be at 40 psi it takes about 22.5 sec per psi to inflate I used a 20v/60v FlexVolt battery The unit did not get warm, while the unit was on the ground it was sitting on the battery because the battery is rather large but the unit did not move nor did the unit tip over and there wasn’t any air leaks.

Love this Portable compressor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on 6/13/2019.I keep in myTruck with my 20v MAX 1/2 impact gun(Which is Awesome also.) It shows you your tire pressure when attached. You just set the dial and it will turn off when it reaches it. It also came with a car cigarette lighter for power if needed.
I never had to use it because it works great with the Battery. I used on my Buddies Van the other day and he wants one now.

Nice little unit

Just got it today, along with a 2 pack of 20v 4 ah batteries. I inflated 2 boat tires from 25 to 60 (with boat on the trailer). And 4 F150 tires (BFGs) from 45 to 55. Dialed them in, set it and check back when you hear the noise stop. Worked perfectly. After that I had 1 of 3 power bars. Pretty nice in my opinion. Hopefully it lasts. It has a 3 year warranty which I think is fair.

Great Features, Easy to use

This is one of the the few that has all three options. This is one of the BEST tools you could own. I have used mine many times. It works great and is very easy to use. It inflates to 35 psi very quickly. It comes with accessories to inflate anything that holds air.

Cool, Cordless, Compact, and Convenient

I’m a huge fan of this DeWALT tool. It keeps people from over/under filling a tire with its dial in psi. The digital interface is real clean. It’s really compact and portable as the hose and all the attachments tuck into the side. Its hell of a lot better than hauling an air compressor somewhere to fill tires. It has saved the day more than once for me so it has got 5 stars in my book!

Compact - The tool I have been waiting for

I love everything about this product. It has replaced: two standup bicycle pumps, two worthless 12V portable tire inflators, a foot-powered inflator pump for pool toys and a 120V Coleman air mattress inflator. In addition, it can DEFLATE an air mattress or suck the air out of one of those "space saver" ziplock bags that my wife uses for extra pillows and comforters. The accuracy of its pressure gauge is dead-on - I tested it with a calibrated tool. I would have purchased the 120V power adapter if it had not been on backorder - I am now glad that I didn't. The way to use this tool is with a 20V battery common to DeWALT tools. I doubt if I will even use the standard 12V power cord - just using a battery is much more efficient. I am also a fan of its standard Schrader screw-on hose, preferring this style to the lever-type. Lots of adaptors including one for Presta stems which I really appreciate.

It's quiet and fast too. Beats a pancake compressor for all those little jobs around the house and job site too. If you air up a lot of bike tires, inflatables, and sports balls you can't go wrong with this inflator it will make your life easier !!!

Best One I Have Owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this inflator for about 8 months now. It has worked flawlessly, and is so handy and easy to use. I am especially liking that the pressure can be preset. And that it comes with an adaptor for presta valves on bicycles. The battery life is good enough that I still have not plugged it in yet; been able to top off six bike tires and inflate a SUP in one 2 amp hour battery.

Use it a lot more than expected to

This inflator is a must have for anyone with a vehicle and has Dewalt 20V tools. I've had mine for a couple years now. Purchased it mainly for the acreage but now I always keep it in my truck. 100x better than those old 12V cigarette lighter inflators... shouldn't even use those as a comparison. Have wound up using it countless times... bikes, riding mowers, cars, trucks, trailers, etc... apparently it can do air mattresses, and other inflatables but I've never had to use it for that. As just a reliable tire inflator it is worth every penny.
I do highly recommend using a 5mah battery. Like many of the Dewalt 20V line of tools, a 2mah is great for drills, sanders, etc... but this inflator like the 12" chainsaw and angle (and others) require a longer duration of power.
Overall thoughts are that this is a must have and it is handy, quick, reliable and cost-effective if you already have Dewalt 20V batteries

Favorite Thing I bought

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgrade all my 18v to 20v lithium. Out of all I bought this air pump is the best, slickest tool ever! I have used on my boat to fill floats and tubes. I have used to fill my tires love that it has a pressure setting and you can leave it to fill. Set it and forget it!! Lol works awesome on basketball, footballs and soccer balls. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Wouldn’t inflate my trailer tires to 50psi

Today was the first day I used the inflator. It inflated my vehicle’s 4 tires precisely & easily..
However, I tried 6 times to inflate my 2 trailer tires to its recommended 50psi & it didn’t work. I hope it was a user error instead of a product problem but I expected it to work in the same straightforward way as it did on my car tires. Unfortunately it didn’t.

Super Portable, But Slow

It has helped pump up my tires, friends and family tires, and has helped pump up a bunch of other tires around my property. The only complaint is that if you’re trying to pump up anything that requires a lot of PSI, it can take a couple minutes. Other than that I love this product

Works good. down side no battery and no a/c adapter included, I can understand the battery but not the adapter. Inflator hose a little cheap. Only a week old and a couple of uses and the connector band is cracking and I see failure looming in future. Price is a little high. Ads include - quiet. set the pressure and it just works. Simple to operate.

Product OK but don't buy FlexVolt DCA120

So far product is working fine. One great feature is threaded nozzle to attach to valve stem. To plug into wall socket you will need their Part # N557514 Dewalt Inflator Power Supply (it comes with a battery connector which is a pain). Don't buy FlexVolt DCA120 which will not work with the air compressor.but you could be tricked into thinking it does.

Making Life Easy

Great around the shop for tire inflation and also great for mobile needs like setting the perfect pressure on the side by side tires or the air mattress, when it comes time to get some camping in. Handy piece of equipment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cordless inflator was more powerful that I expected. I was able to fill a full size truck tire to 80 psi without a problem. It did not take long and I was able to accomplish on a low battery without hesitation. The large volume inflator worked ok as well. It would handy for a jobsite if you didn't want to get the compressor hooked up.

Product comes in handy for me as I have two cars and two motorcycles. It saves me a lot of trips to the gas station to refill tires. I love that it gives current air pressure as well as target pressure. If it came with a batter charger, it would get 5 stars from me. I was disappointed that it comes with a battery, but no way to recharge it.

Get this one! Could not be easier to use or intuitive. Default setting is for tires but will inflate pretty much everything. Tells you current air pressure and roll the wheel to desired pressure and once it hits that number it cuts off. Comes with an ac adapter/cord in case your battery is dead. This thing will save your big behind one day.

Very Convenient

It’s definitely slower filling tires with this compared to my air compressor but this is a lot more convenient. I like that I can set the psi that I want it to inflate to and it will automatically shut off when the pressure is reached.

So cool for us because we are in the lawn care business and deal with flat tires a lot and often away from shop. It was quick for a small unit as we used it just the other day on a mower we needed to more. Awesome! Reasonably priced too!

WOW this air inflator is mighty in size

I have inflated six Class A RV tires to 110 lbs on one 20volt battery. I allowed time for it to cool down in between but was impressed with its abilities. The power cord is available, but why buy cordless if your just going to plug it in?
The blower and flashlight come in handy too. Another knocked out of the park DeWalt cordless tool.

I was impressed how well it worked, much easier to use than my direct wire compressor. The battery life is t so good, but I didn’t expect it to be. Plug in dc port and you’re good to go. It’s very accurate.

It was difficult to locate the product on your website, It was even more difficult to find the AC adaptor cord, and apparently there are no online manuals (although there are links that pretend to lead to manual(s) - but goes elsewhere. You need to hire some professional web and database designers to create a user friendly website.

A Great Tool To Have While Towing

I bought this specifically for towing my camper to Disney from Maryland. My camper tires go to 110psi and I wanted something I could use a battery on. I love it. I have a 60 gallon compressor and use this most of the time to pump up and tires and occasionally a few air mattresses. Only regret is I didn't get the jump start version.

This is a must buy if your own the 20v line

An unexpected benefit is that it is now easier to put air in our car tires. Very quick and easy and I no longer need to roll out the 50 foot air hose to inflate tires. Recommend %100.

One of the best Birthday gifts I've gotten!!

Just got this for my birthday. I usually ask for something Dewalt for Christmas or Birthday. this was one of the items this year. Sat in the box for a week and finally got around to opening it when going to look at a vehicle for sale. Before leaving tested it on my trailer and worked like a charm. It was so easy I decided to check all the Camper tires, again flawless and fun to use. Got to my destination to look at the vehicle and glad I brought this along as all the tires were at about 17psi and I had a 2 hour drive back home. local fuel station air pump was broken so this was a life saver as driving that far back with low tires would have been unsafe for me and everyone around me. This thing is awesome and found out it has a light on it as well!!! If You are on the fence quit waiting and get one!!! You will not be disappointed. Always been a Dewalt fan and this is just the icing on the cake. now to use my 20v caulk gun and see how awesome that is.

Be Aware! Does not come with a 120v adaptor

Good product, but lists 3 way to power it. Battery, 12v adaptor, and 120v adaptor.
Turns out, the 120v adaptor is an additional cost option.
I want to leave it on my workbench where I can have it plugged in to fill bike tires.
Because of the misleading description, I have to give this otherwise good product only 3 stars.

Had the compressor for 3 months. Used for my tractor that has small leak and a couple times for friends with low tire. Started off great but took a dump. When in compressor mode the motor is on but the compressor isn't working. Basically useless now. Dewalt has been steadily going down hill. My next purchase will be Milwaukee.

It worked perfect and a buddy ordered one the same day after seeing that you can preset the desired tire pressure and it pumps it up and stops.
