Ensemble perceuse/visseuse et visseuse à chocs, sans fil, 20 V

I bought this set a few months ago. I was excited as this was my first purchase of a quality set of power tools as a homeowner. Initially, the drill/driver set appeared to be fairly strong & well made. Recently I've noticed the battery pack seems to be loose on the impact driver whereas the drill is not. To make things worse, one of the brand new batteries will not take a charge. I guess I will need to contact customer service for assistance. I am definitely questioning my decision to go w/ DeWalt. I am in the market for a new leaf blower & pole saw. I think I will switch to another make before I make too big of a commitment to DeWalt. Very, very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to replace my 20+ year old DeWalt 14.4V cordless drill because the 2 original batteries would no longer hold a charge. It served me well but I couldn't justify the cost of new batteries versus buying a new drill and I wanted to get an impact driver anyway. I've already used the new 20V MAX tools to tackle a major kitchen renovation, new laundry room, home studio and countless smaller projects. I'm really grateful for the built-in LED lights but wished they better located to be aimed at the tip of the chuck. I would have rated these at 5-stars if the LED lights were better aimed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first house and was advised by both my father, brother, and father in-law, to start my Dewalt collect. They have been using Dewalt tools for decades. These two tools are worth every penny and I would never buy another brand to save a dollar. They run like champs with great power from the 20V and have a long battery life that comes in handy for my extended DIY projects and boy do I have a lot of them now!!! I know I will be in my 50s suggesting the same thing when my son buys a house, From the build quality I’m I will still be using these same tools as well.

Bought this drill & driver kit today and used it immediately. Good points: came with two batteries & one battery charger, batteries charge quickly (about an hour), came with carrying bag, worked flawlessly for several hours without requiring a battery recharge. I also bought a tool belt and two DeWalt drill holsters one for the drill and one for the driver. Really helped in my use as I was drilling pilot holes then driving in screws while up on a ladder. Very convenient to be able to holster the drill and unholster the driver without climbing down the ladder to change tools. Bad point: None. Suggestion: add a second charger to the kit. Would have allowed me to start my job immediately instead of waiting for both batteries to charge.

I bough this about a year ago, I use it pretty much daily. For work and home projects. The impact driver definitely packs a punch, get the job done very efficiently and so the the drill gun. The compact size of the drill gun is very useful on those hard to reach places with the bigger model. The force difference it’s almost not noticeable on small to mid projects. It still works great with your larger projects (I.e. hole saw purposes). But if you have that kind of project daily I would suggest getting the hole hawg to make your job much more efficient. Battery doesn’t last very long for the amount of use I put in, but when using with the higher AMP battery or even my flex volt batteries it last for 1-2 days on the 20V XR batteries 2-4 days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these two tools to augment the two DeWalt 20V Max tools that I have had for about three years. Now, I have four solid tools for working projects. It is a lot more convenient when building projects to have different drills in each drill and a driver in a third drill so I can drill a pilot hole in hard woods, use a second drill to quickly drill a larger hole to flush set the screw and the third drill to drive the screw. This made building blue bird houses in scrap Trek type decking a piece of cake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new Cordless Drill. Replaced an 18V NiCAD Cordless Drill from a competitor. Charged the battery and started using the Drill to install self drilling screws in an aluminum frame. Clutch worked great and had long lasting power. Very satisfied with the Drill. .Can't wait to try the Impact Driver. Have friends that have them. They are also very satisfied with the Dewalt Drills and Impact Drivers. No comparison between the Lithium Ion and the NiCad batteries. Very satisfied!

I had got this set for work awhile back and it has served me very well over the years. The impact is used daily as it has the consistent power right away. Light weight and can get into tighter spaces that other drivers can’t due to the nose being smaller than a drill driver. Would recommend this set to anyone looking for a great deal along with power tools that can take a beating and last for 60+ hour work weeks. Price is right along with quality
