Coffre à outils, tiroir double, TOUGHSYSTEM

Overall I'm very pleased with this toolbox and the fact that I can use it with my other ToughSystem 2.0 toolboxes. The storage space in the drawers is just enough for the smaller odds and ends that I don't put in my TS 2.0 toolboxes. With that said, there are some areas for improvement that would be nice. The second drawer doesn't close as firmly as the top drawer (but it still seals properly), there's no handle on the top of the toolbox, and I wish I could get custom foam for the drawers like I can for the trays in my TS 2.0 toolboxes. These are all very minor drawbacks for an otherwise SOLID drawer based solution. I love mine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this two drawer unit, but the wobble in the product makes me so nervous and will likely lead to unnecessary wear on the side latches. Dewalt needs to fix this issue immediately and send out plugs for the boxes people have purchased to steady them up. Also, why is there no handle on the top of these boxes, the side handle are fine, but a top handle is a must. There missing from the two and three drawer units as the small storage boxes. Drawer size: I wish the drawer size was just a bit taller. I can't fit my Dewalt orbital sander in one of the drawers. Its just a bit to short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the upgrades DeWalt has made from the first tough system. The new latching system is significantly stronger and more robust. This box has a strong drawer latch mechanism which will definitely to be put to the test on job sites. Needed this box to store some of my lesser used cordless tools. Mostly some smaller drills, impact driver, 20V reciprocating saw (use the 60V one far more often), and some spare batteries. It works great and hangs on the storage rack incase needed. I still need to get some drawer liners for it, but for now it keeps my lesser used tools organized and is ready to add to the stack when needed. Side note: I put a spare tape measure in every tool bag, box, and basically anywhere I can think of.

This is not a tool box. It is a set of drawers with handles on the sides. I have been looking for a smallish hand carry tool box with decent sized drawers and this would have been perfect except for the lack of a top handle. This has got to be the worst functional design choice for a tool box this size. I thought I could get over it, but always having to use two hands to carry it just makes it a hassle. It’s going back to the store. I’d keep it if there was an easily available aftermarket option or even a replacement option from Dewalt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome. It allows me to organize my tools and keep them organized when I take them out of the shop. The drawers slide super smooth and shut with a nice click. With the two drawer system I don’t need to take my tools from the shop and load them into a separate tool box. I can just snap it on to the other tough system tool boxes and take them where needed. Sturdy handles as well. I recommend this for anyone who has to transport their tools from job site to job site or even just to keep in the garage at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had gotten the 2 wheel tough system cart and really liked it. Started running out of room so decided to add to it. The 2.0 2 drawer system is a really nice additions. Was gonna use it for some smaller stuff but once I saw how nice the drawers were and slid with ease I decided to store my drill and impact in there since I use them the most. Very durable and convenient. May get another or look into other options for smaller items(screws, nails, wire nuts, etc. Only thing I’d add are some slip resistant liners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A quality box with enough room. The drawers roll, not slide, easily and hold the weight I've put in them. It is missing the top handle, which I find myself reaching for but ultimately may not be necessary once I've placed this box in the shop rack. I believe in that use the drawers will be preferable to the top opening tool box style of my other boxes. One of my older DS150 boxes wouldn't connect to the top of this box but all the others did. I can see buying more of these boxes in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] you can feel the quality of craftsman ship when you use the drawers, its a solid durable tool box that will be a great addition to my tools, its backward compatible with tough system 1.0. the side latches are very easy to operate, does not make you loose a finger every time you try to pry it open. The drawers are fairly big, its perfect for storing batteries and smaller tools. I would recommend buying this drawer box, it will be a great tool box to your collection.
