I've used this mower about 3 or 4 times now the battery won't hold charge.
The price for the replacement battery is outrageous. Might as well buy a new mower. I am so disappointed

I bought the lawnmower that had 2 of these a year ago. Last year it worked great. now I can't even finish half of my yard before I am out of juice.

Batteries are garbage

The same as everyone else here. My batteries are brand new and will not charge. The price for a replacement is unbelievable. Very disappointed.

Battery last about 20 minutes after 20 uses

I bought the mower July 2021, the mower is really nice. The only issue is the batteries are not lasting as long as the did the first 10 uses.

Not Charging, Hot/Cold delwy

The battery will not charge. Continues to give the hot/cold delay when put on the charger. The cost of replacing the battery is ridiculous!

BATTERY CAUGHT FIRE WHILE CHARGING IN GARAGE!!!

BATTERY CAUGHT FIRE!!!!!
Bought a Dewalt mower with 2 - 10 AH batteries. I used them over a year with no problems, worked great for the small backyard I have. Then we saw smoke in the garage and I immediately unplugged one of my 10AH batteries that was charging. Luckily we saw the smoke, then it burst into flames as I tried to move it off my workbench, too late though. I had to use my fire extinguisher, but the battery cells kept re-igniting!
The lithium ion cells were exploding one by one, it was shooting fire particles igniting boxes in my garage. I would extinguish the flames, then again it re-ignited, this happened over and over for about 4 minutes. It would hiss very loudly then shoot flames a couple feet above the battery. Here are pictures of the battery and charger. Extremely scary situation, and the fire department had to be called. My fire extinguisher ran empty, so eventually I got up the nerve to grab it by the cord while it was on fire and throw it into the front yard. I want everyone to know, these batteries can ignite while charging inside the base.
If this ever happens, the fire department said to dump dirt/soil on it. Smart, wish I knew that before.
