Bought 4 for my power station one has since died.

In less than 3 years, 1 out of 4 of these expensive batteries have stopped charging. No problem you say it’s covered under Dewalt’s 3 year warranty. Yes it is…but I’m still waiting for my warranty replacement to be shipped 7 months later! What is going on Dewalt!!!
I have never had a warranty issue before and now I hope never to have to again.

Poor Lifespan

I originally purchased 4 DCB612 batteries. One died in less than two years, so I replaced it. That makes 5 batteries. Today another one died in less than two years. So, that will make 6 batteries. I've had no problems with my 6ah and 9ah batteries in over three years. I guess there is a quality control or design problem with the 12ah batteries

Long life and great power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when I was in the process of converting my van into a camper to hopefully gain some life on my tools for the project. After doing some searching I found a converter that turned 20v to power 12v. So now, all of my lights and fans in my camper van can run off of this battery! Even overnight! Not sure what I’d do without this.

It is in harsh weather conditions sometimes in the shed or being flopping around somewhere and is still preforming amazing. I use it for many things from trimming grass to using it for DeWalt light. It preforms better than I should expect it to.

It is super nice to have a bigger battery like this for running flexvolt tools in intense applications. I was skeptical at first, based on the price, but once I bought it I would never go back!

Awesome Battery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an expensive battery and currently the most powerful from Dewalt but well worth everything. I use it on my Dewalt trimmer and it outlast three full yards - over 2.5 hours of use at half load. I am quite impress at the load capacity and power output. I highly recommend this battery.

DCB612 Battery Pack

I used this battery intermentantly, maybe 3 hours total. Tools used on, weedeater, circular saw, leaf blower... Now the battery won't take a charge and only lights with one green bar, which isn't enough to power up the tools I won. I am a Dewalt champ, but this battery has failed me.

BIG BAD BATTERY!

I have a saying .If you can't see it you can't fix it.
So the first tool out and the last tool put up is my flashlight.
This puppy will last all week in the flashlight or I can use a pair in my compound miter saw for long lasting 120v power

Not your typical battery!

40 volt batteries

I bought a 40 volt blower last fall. After using it twice either the battery or charger is no good. I have been looking for a 40 volt battery since then but unable to locate one. Loved the tool when it worked but now I'm afraid I just have a shelf ornament

It lasted about a year on 1 charge, incredible. 2nd charge it has 1 bar and charger says it is full. Brand new battery & chainsaw that are useless. What a shame for such quality, the saw not the battery.

Great battery life!

I bought 2 of these batteries to use with my 12" Flex volt miter saw and Flex volt table saw when I do interior trim or a kitchen and at first they were great, less than 2 years old and they will no longer take a charge. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Perfect thing to buy

I love this battery it reminds me of the Energizer bunny they keep going n going. I have a 6.0 too but it goes dead by lunch time at work. The 12.0 lasts about 2 and a half days. It’s a really good thing to have with your cordless tools

Power for days!

I loved this battery. I have knots all the cordless tools from DeWALT. I use this battery for my 7 1/4” circular saw and it was great. Until cell went bad(I think). We’ll see if they replace it. Maybe this review will change

Won’t take a charge

I bought this at the end of mowing season. I only used it a few times now it won’t even take a charge. What a waste of money. All I own is dewalt this battery is not standard of dewalt normal quality
