Love this saw !!
il y a 4 ans
Bought it to replace a Ryobi Table Saw that was 14 years old. DIY woodworker here, and this saw meets my requirements. Unboxed it when bought to make sure table top was flat and it was. Blade was square front to back and no other adjustments were required.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing a 18 year old DeWalt 8 inch table saw and I am very satisfied with the added rip capacity, blade size and sturdiness. So far the cuts and angles are dead on. Went together easily in about 20 minutes and that was all for the Rolling Stand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just started using this saw on both large and smaller pieces of wood. Very stable, good accurate cuts, fence works great. I was able to fold up the stand, lean it against the tailgate of my truck and lift it up onto the bed of the truck without any help.
I am writing this review to make you all aware that the dado insert Dewalt sells does fit the space, however do not expect to put any dado blades wider than 1/4-1/2” wide. The throat plate is off center and does not allow for a 3/4” or wider blade...
Well made. Easy set up. Very accurate. Love this tool. The only thing I wish was better would a larger miter one that had a tighter fit in the track. I’ve read the some people had an uneven deck but that was not the case with me. It was perfect.
I purchased this particular saw because of the geared drive fence, and found this feature to be excellent. The ability to accurately move the fence, have it remain square to the work, and lock in place are worth the purchase price of this saw.
I bought this saw after returning the FlexVolt table saw (because I thought it was flexible - corded/cordless like my FlexVolt miter saw). This purchase, however, is also upsetting because it does not come with the required mounting brackets.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is awesome. I’ve been doing finished carpentry and making furniture with this saw. With the right blade , it’s just as good as any cabinet saw. I can cut cut tenons with ease and rip through the toughest/ thickest hardwoods. Love it.
I have a shop in my garage so space is at a premium when I'm not using the saw. I love that I can store it in a small space and still have the use of a great saw for my projects. It's so good, I bought a second one for my other woodshop.
I've owned this table saw for over a year now and I'm still pleased with my purchase. Barely any adjustment out of the box. I use it for mostly weekend woodworking projects. It stores nice and compact and it's super stable when being used.
I just bought the DWE7491RS table saw and roller frame. Although I love the saw the lack of instructions on the assembly really blows. I had to look up YouTube videos on the operation and assembly. Come on Dewalt get you act together

The only table saw you’ll ever need.
il y a 2 ans
Since I bought this table saw I have used it constantly. In the past I’ve always used small cheaper ones. I now know what a real quality table saw can do. With the rolling stand you can fold it up and it takes up very little space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the saw a bit over 6 months ago for home projects and making some finer boxes and decorations for our wedding. It handles everything I've thrown at it really well. The flexibility with the stand is perfect for a small shop
My first table saw, I have only used it twice to make a cross cut sled so far. I have a lot of respect for this saw. I am a Meatcutter by trade and use the meat saw daily with comfort but this table saw will take some getting used to. Fingers dont grow back. The saw is well made with a lot of great features for onboard storage and folds up for compact storage which is important to me because I have a small garage. I am a skilled do it your selfer and am restoring our Century Home in phases. I will be nice to have this table saw so I dont have to go to my brother-in laws to have boards cut. I did a lot of online reviews and the Dewalt looks like the top of the line. It is probably more saw than I need buy I hate to buy something and wish later I had bought the better one. This saw will be a beast for ripping plywood which I have to do to replace some overhang soffit, that was my main reason for purchasing it. It will be much better than using my Circular Saw which is also a Dewalt . Probably 95% of my power tools are Dewalt and I have had them for years.
First off, the saw is strong and accurate, no problems there. The dust collection is a joke. the under blade collection port is a typical 2-1/2" port and the blade guard has an over-head port for DeWalt's quick connect. However, they do not offer and Y-adapter for a DeWalt HEPA vacuum so you can hook up both ports. Using a bag connected to the lower port and a DeWalt HEPA vac to the guard port, I only manage to collect about 40% of the dust created by cutting 6 pieces of plywood strips. The dust outside, around and under the saw was far greater than what was in the bag and vacuum's bag. Secondly, if the fence is adjusted to anything greater than 7"and you grab the fence lock and release it, your hand will be launched into the sharp pinion rack on the underside of the telescoping fence. Luckily I was wearing Cut level 3 gloves or I would definitely had skin removed. This lever is cam/spring loaded when locked and is very forceful upon release. Of course I won't be using my thumb on top of the lever any more, but the next person who does this WILL be injured.

Best out the box!
il y a 5 ans
I bought this saw going on to a month ago. I had watched too many YouTube videos of DIY woodworking & had convinced myself that that was the hobby I needed. Admittedly, I needed a bit of help figuring out how to set up the saw as I found certain parts of the saw's instruction manual difficult to follow, e.g. assembling the rip fence. My inexperience with this type of tool was also to blame in this instance. Solution: YouTube (AGAIN), use of my comprehension skills and a little patience. The stand was a lot easier, but overall I enjoyed the set-up process.
Out the box, the saw's blade is properly aligned for cuts at 90 and 45 degrees. Power is sufficient to cut through hardwoods with ease. The fence is true for referencing a straight edge when ripping. My only issue was the miter gauge. Out the box, the miter gauge is off 90 by about 2 degrees. When the indicator is placed on 90 degrees, the gauge is tilted to the right. Can someone in DeWalt tell me how to fix the gauge please? part from that one issue, I love my new "toy" & would recommend its purchase without hesitation!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw as an upgrade for the small ryobi one that I have had for years. Compared to that one this one is great. I really like the rack and pinion guard system. Overall I would buy it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is loaded with features and is the perfect saw for limited space. This saw is great for making precision rips with any kind of wood. Very easy to set up and take down within a few minutes.
Really happy with mine. Mine stated banging on the way down. Then wouldn't wind up. Manual says to clean and oil. I cleaned it then sprayed WD-40 on it. And now raises and lowers like silk.
Every cut is straight, true, and easy. Set up and storage is a snap. High quality well made and lasting. I’ve had mine four three years, made hundreds of cuts, and it’s still like brand new.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this saw a few months back and have not been disappointed. I do cabinet work for a living and use this saw out in the field and it works great. It is accurate and the wide rip it great
I have used the tablesaw for about a week now. Setup was easy and quick. The miter gauge is a problem. Keeps loosening up for repeat cuts and the bar is not tight enough in the track
My saw is about 16 years old. A work horse. But even though the nut is tight, too much play from Arbor, bearings I believe. Any idea if this is serviceable or just get a new one ?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great saw and the stand makes this portable and convenient. I do a lot of the work in a garage and this allows me to move the table saw in and out of the way when I’m done with ease.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw almost 5 years ago and it's still going strong. Use it to build furniture and greatly appreciate it's precision especially when compared to other portable saws.
I have had this saw now for two years. Have been really happy with it since day one. I build cabinets for a living and have used just about every job site table saw ever made. But this one has blown all the others out of the water. Has plenty of power to cut any plywood or hardwood I have thrown at it. It does not give me any problems with blowing out the plywood on cross cuts. The fence design is genius, stays accurate and is easy to slide. And I could not imagine ever having another saw that doesn't have a rolling, fold up stand to go with it. Of course it does have the same draw back as all other job site saws, it is limited on the cutting with. But they was able to get it out to 32" without having any extra rails sticking out. And it can sometimes be a little heavy for a single person to load and unload. But at the end of the day I feel like I have the best saw in its class. Would definitely recommend this saw for contractors, trim carpenters, cabinet installers, and anyone who wants a nice saw that will last a while. I run a lot of material through mine for days at a time sometimes and it has not given me a problem yet.
The Allen key supplied snapped on the first screw, slicing my thumb open badly.
Was not calibrated and I needed to spend a decent amount of time aligning.

Great table saw, but missing one thing
il y a 7 ans
It would be really helpful to be able to tie in my dust collection into the power. Today I need to start both the dust collector and the saw individually.
I currently own 2 of these. One for my house and 1 for business. It’s a great job site saw. Easy to transport, assembles in seconds and cuts like a champ.
This saw is smooth, accurate and powerful. It lives up to the good reviews. I have limited workspace and this saw folds easily and wheels into a corner.
