Love, love, love this feeder!!

This feeder has just the right capacity for my birds. I have several of these in different locations and love them! They hold just enough, make cleaning quick and thorough (since it comes apart), and keeps the ants out with the ant moat. Occasionally a raccoon will get to the “flowers” but I keep a bag of replacements close by and they are a snap (literally) to replace. You can’t go wrong with this feeder!

Disappointed

Very nice looking however they leak badly. I’ve been feeding hummingbirds for decades, I’ve tried many feeders, I prefer large capacity feeders, this was the worst. The nectar drips constantly from where the plastic base seals together, regardless of how much I tighten the jar to the bottom. I own another feeder, similar design… they leak occasionally from temperature changes, but yours leak constantly.

Humming Bird Feeders

They are what I have been looking for - for years. Clear bottom, wide mouth jar for easy cleaning, easy disassemble. no trouble cleaning the feeding ports. That is why I bought 3 more to add to the 3 I already had. Whoever designed these, I owe you a drink. My birds go through the contents in a week. I sometime have all feeding ports being utilized at the same time. THANK YOU

Good for the large group of hummingbirds I have!

I really like being able to wash the main feeder part in the dishwasher occasionally. The rest is easy to clean by hand.
The only thing that is a bit frustrating is that the lower part doesn’t scewin as easily as others I have had. Don’t try to put it in tight, or good luck taking it apart to clean and refill. Love the ant reservoir on top and the metal hanging hooks!

Leaky feeder attracts ants

I bought the Diamond Hummingbird Feeder with Ant Moat at my local garden center. I like the design as I think the ribbed glass attracts the birds, but this thing leaks when it heats up and drips all over my patio and attracts ants. I'll hang it farther away from the house so the birds can enjoy it, but we won't be able to see the birds very well. Very disappointing.

Hummers Happy

This was my third hummer feeder, and by far this is their favorite. The other two the bees (and wasps) were readily helping themselves, which kept the little guys away for a while till I got this one with the Ant moat and Bee Guards. Good choice.
PS. stay away from metal feeder ports for the hummers. They do not like them and its a waste of money in my opinion

Best feeder ever

I and the hummers have enjoyed this feeder for a number of years. This past August a cat attempted to catch the birds and instead got the feeder causing it to fall and break both the feeder top and ant guard. Oddly the glass jar was unscathed. Can I purchase replacement parts for the feeder? I don't see them on your site. Thanks

Bad Design

The feeder looks good. but could have been designed better. The anti-bee design works well...The glass container makes the water get HOT after an afternoon of summer heat...the plastic base is almost impossible to loosen after it's screwed on to the glass bottle. I tried to tighten it a little less, but then it leaked.

Poor base design- can’t open to refill

There is no way to stabilize the clear base, while attempting to spin the cylinder to open and clean the feeder,… no thumb tabs. We soaked, twisted, tried numerous times to open this. Called the company. They will get back to us. Don’t get this if you have arthritis in your hands! The hummers did love it. I don’t!

Best Feeder

I love glass and my hummers Love these feeders. The built in ant moot is convenient. I just wish the purple flowers lasted longer but you can buy replacements or substitute the white flowers, but the purple flowers seem to be the favorite. It's my Hummers favorite feeder and I've tied a lot of feeders in my day.

We have a wide variety of feeders in our yard, but this one holds the most nectar of all of them. It is easy to fill and assemble, The ant moat is a godsend and keeps me from having to clean the feeder except when refilling thereby not wasting any nectar. Hummers Love it!

Good product but-during first use, one of the floret feeding ports came out. Found the white floret portion but the center piece that holds the port in place has gone missing-hopefully not on the bill of one of our hummer friends! Am hopeful that we can order more floret assemblies.

Diamond Feeder

Excellent size! We use 5 of them and they are very useful in feeding our hummers. We have some of the older model that has 7 feeders versus the current model release that has 5. I understand the change but with 7 feeders there are less hummers waiting to get to the feeders.

New version of diamond feeder not compatible with older models

The replacement feeder flowers and plastic bases were fine and fitted as expected. However the parts of the new feeder do NOT fit the existing 5 diamond feeders. The point of getting a new feeder from your company was to have interchangeable parts.

Hummers are happier

I can use a quart of hummer water, a day, the other brand wasn't working,( water wouldn't vacuum into feeding tray ). These two new ones work great, and I'm going to get another one. Thank you.

These feeders used to have 7 flowers and since we have four feeders going at once we feed anywhere from 40 to over 60 birds we go through 8 lbs of sugar a week. They need more flowers nor less

I have used Big Gulp feeders for years with great success. I wanted a somewhat smaller feeder for when there are fewer birds but that is still easy to clean. This feeder works great.

Feeder is beautiful however I hung my feeder on carport eve out of sunlight and used for 3 weeks. The glass container literally exploded!

Overall this is a very good feeder, the bottom is a little hard to unscrew but the birds love the feeder and it doesn't get full of bees or other bugs.
