Toilette cuvette allongée Sonoma par American Standard, 2 pièces, chasse simple, 4,8 l, blanc

I've bought a number of American Standard Cadet 3 Toilets in the past, but this model was not available in my new hometown so I opted for the Sonoma. Seemed like a good unit until I realized there is no soft close lid, so it slams shut. Seriously? I replaced a crap no-name toilet from the 80s, and it had a soft close feature. How much could it POSSIBLY cost to include this on all seats these days. Who in their right mind would WANT their lids slamming shut Larger 'loads' may require a double flush due to the 4.8lpf, I have had TP come back up a few times already. I would have picked the other brand the sales guy tried to get me to buy that had soft close for cheaper, but I was adamant about American Standard due to our history. Loyalty lost!

Bought this toilet to replace the water saving dual flush (other brand) toilet that came with the home we purchased over a year ago. That p.o.c. always took 2-3 flushes on solids, nothing water saving about that. This new American Standard has been installed a month now and has handled everything put to it with a single flush. The way its designed, the water flow actually thrusts out whats in the bowl near the end of the flush. A month later and my wife and I still marvel about the flushing ability of this toilet. Simple install.

looking good so far, just hope it lasts 20 years like my last American Standard Toilet. Too bad you do not make them any taller. Guess you do not want commercial business for hospitals, care homes etc.

Replaced a older poorly designed unit with no flush power resulting in a massive waste of water.

The flush valve system didn’t work properly. After two different parts orders it seems fine now
