Do yourself a favor and buy a graduated mixing cup.I have no complaints with the product, It's great. But it's marketed as an easy to use kit, then leave no tool in the kit to measure out the resin, leaving you to "eye ball" the ratio.The hardener is easy to portion out, just need to count drips. Too much or too little hardener and the result will be trash. It's not hard to do right, but you need a proper mixing cup or some sort of measuring device. Chop strand/ fiberglass mat is supposed to look like shredded wheat, dab with a brush, don't stroke and it'll be fine. You'll get some strands pulling away but after you grind it you will have a solid repair. Overall I loved this kit. Other than a mixing cup and a paint brush, it comes with what you need for a solid fiberglass repair.

I used this to fix a hardshell suitcase that the airlines dropped off the plane which cracked it around the wheels (it was only a few months old). While it is a bit messy to work with, I applied multiple layers of the fiberglass cloth and followed the directions to a "T" and my suitcase is back in business!

Despite following the directions exactly as displayed on the box, three separate times, the resin never set up to harden. Extremely disappointed in a product from a well known company like Bondo/3M. If there was a product guarantee on the box I'd be asking for a refund. Don't waste your money.

I 've been using this stuff for years on automotive sheet metal as well as plastic repairs around the house. This quality has always been consistent. All you have to do have to be able to follow the simple directions provided. Not adding the proper amount of hardener will keep it from drying.

The fiberglass that is provided is so bad that this product is worthless. It's just like a bag of shredded wheat. You should buy the fiberglass cloth elsewhere and then the epoxy as well. You cannot add the epoxy to the fiberglass without pulling it all away.

well, the instructions didn't lie...followed them to the "T" but they say in the instructions "if it gets hard......... " as if they know it's not going to work. Maybe the problem is the expect you to guestimate.
