ENTREPRISES SHIPPAGAN LTÉE JOINS THE BMR GROUP NETWORK
Boucherville, January 22, 2021– BMR Group is pleased to announce the arrival of a brand new dealer within its large family: the hardware division of Entreprises Shippagan Ltée. The 4th generation family business is one of the largest wholesale distributors in Canada, serving the commercial fishing and aquaculture industries. The hardware division, located in Shippagan, New Brunswick, employs 15 dedicated employees who serve local customers and fishermen in the coastal community.
After 5 years under the ACE banner, Shippagan president, Marc-André Robichaud, decided to join BMR Group in order to increase awareness of its hardware business and to complement its product range. Offering quality products and excellent service to its community are essential missions for the company, which began its activities in 1977 with the opening of its Shippagan hardware store.

A New Image for the Company’s Hardware Division
The building will soon display a brand new sign in the BMR Group colours. With a total sales area of 7,000 sq. ft., this store – which will operate under the BMR Express banner – will offer a wide selection of hardware products to meet the needs of Shippagan consumers and contractors.
Entreprises Shippagan Ltée has more than 150 passionate employees within its 6 companies, including International Seafood & Bait, ESL Marine Supplies Ltd., Vernon D’eons Fishing Supplies Ltd., DJ Marine Supplies Ltd., and Sea-Alex Inc. The company serves customers across Canada and exports its products to the United States and in Europe.
