The Silicone aerosol lubricant is designed for high-pressure equipment. In addition to deep lubrication, it displaces moisture, thus extending their lifespan. Its silicone-based formula is also suitable for rubber parts such as hoses, window seals, plumbing fittings, and belts. Acting as a protective coating, a single layer is enough to keep out dust, dirt, oil, and grime. The WD-40 silicone lubricant is designed to be applied at temperatures between -35°C and 200°C.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) WD-40 is an important core of our life as everyday or anytime you can need it. Trying the silicone one was new for me to try. Thank you @influenster for giving me this to try. This is a water resistant one so we sprayed it on joints of the metal pipes of water. It can actually be used on metals, rubber, plastic and non metals. So basically I used it on my door hinges to get rid of the squeaky sound. And it works amazing. The little straw like thing is amazing as it can be easily sprayed anywhere and in 360• . It can actually be used in small areas where it is usually hard to get into. It protects metal from getting rusty. We used it in our bike pedal chain as it was tight and was hard to pedal but after using WD-40 the pedal is smooth and better than before. I enjoyed the benefits of WD-40

Great Product

I decided to try this on r few of my husband’s tools as some of them are getting hard to adjust. I was very impressed with how quickly it worked on them! It really didn’t take much, just a few squirts and let them sit for a few minutes, and they started to move more freely.
The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that when I tried sticking the little precise straw in and using, it kept falling off mid spray.

Great for outdoor use

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I started testing my product outdoors right away while we have rainy weather to see how to holds up. I used it on my back door fence hinges and parts of the garage door. Gold's up well. It is fast drying. This is a strong chemical so do wear a mask and don't get it on your skin. Remember this is a chemical that is poisonous. Consider using this in your car around the power windows to lubricate and be water proof of even your car door to prevent door from sticking in cold temperatures.

I used it on my chain and it was super easy to use. I love that it comes with the spray tube built into the can because I have lost tubes in the past from other products! It’s got a bit of a strong smell, but it disappeared pretty quickly. I also have read I can use this on my treadmill so I’m looking forward to trying it for that. Would purchase again.

This stuff is great in cold weather. We used it on the cars to prevent the door handles from freezing (this happens every winter in our climate). It worked really well. One application lasted me thé entire winter!
I plan on trying it out on my bike chain this summer.

I sprayed it on my lock and it seems like my key slides in easier now and I was able to use it again. Amazing hack! I highly recommend this product It is super easy to apply and sprays on quickly and easily.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The steps were easy to follow. Make sure to clean the surface you are using it on. You can do it on your own. You don’t need a helper to use your product. The packaging is very simple and explain what it does.

It worked well for what I used it for. I used to displace water from a distributor cap and it worked well.
I also used it on some dirty electrical connectors and also a strut arm.
The spray can works well but I found it struggled a little bit when spraying upside down. Overall I would recommend it.

I went around my property spraying this on all the hinges. Worked great! I loke that is also helps protect against rist and is water proof for outdoor use. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) No a fan of WD-40 but Silicone I am. Seem like a good % of Silicone and one can control the flow rate and quality through finger varying pressure.
You can't get that with just a noozle.
I use this silicon product on everything, auto, home, small engine, etc.
Prevents or reduces rust. Wish the price wouldn't be so high, I'd buy more.

I used mine for a door that has been squeaky and not working the best, and I used this and it fixed it right away. This is also pretty easy to use and get the hang of and I think it would even be great for beginners. I recommend!

We live in an older home and all the doors squeaked. We used this on room, doors, sliding glass bathroom doors, cupboards, gates, baby gates, even the wood store doors and latches. Works great in the cold especially for door lock mechanisms and dog leash clips. I really appreciate that there is practically no smell to this product (especially compared to the original WD-40 products). It also wiped off easily. I am currently working on and restoring an old sailboat and I was hoping it would help loosen some of the rusted/corroded parts (screws/nuts/old lights bulbs in bases….), but unfortunately did not work as well in those applications for me. However, I still really like the product, would buy again and definitely recommend! (I can now get into the treats cupboard without the little ones hearing me 😂). My house is squeak free!!!

My only complaint is the chemical smell of the product that I don’t love. I have tried natural alternative products but they don’t work the same to get my sliding door running smoothly again.
