Control stainer 150 sprayer

After pressure washing our sizable backyard fence, I began tackling the stain application with this smart sprayer. It takes a little longer and there are a few more breaks needed to refill, but I appreciated the lighter weight of the sprayer as well as the control I had as a novice user of such a tool. I can’t wait to refinish our kitchen table and chairs and try this baby out on something else. A fence was a great place to start (in my opinion) for getting the feel of distance and application. Now I feel comfortable trying some indoor pieces of furniture that will need a little more skill.

I used an clear oil based stain that would give my project a natural wood look that would seal out water and be resistant to mold and mildew. This stainer was really easy to use. It may the job quick and easy. I mostly used it the vertical setting. When spraying the stain, it had me amazed at how smooth and evenly it was covering the surfaces . Setup was not a problem and even cleanup was no problem as well. It was all that I could hope for and it really exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this Wagner to product to anyone looking for something like this.

I used this unit to spray outdoor protectant on my wood furniture and it really does the trick. I really liked the adjustable spray head for vertical or horizontal spraying, but make sure to turn the suction tube inside the container before filling with paint or stain to ensure spraying upwards or backwards for a good even spray. Fast clean up and disassembles easily. A great investment for the DIY'er. I highly recommend this product for the beginner or novice painter and for any small project!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently built seven birdhouses out of reclaimed cedar fencing. The exterior sides needed some water seal protection before I gave them away. Using a brush would be tedious work. Instead, I quickly built a temporary spray tent out of two small plastic sheets and a staple gun, and using my Control Stainer 150, I was done in no time. I was able to effortlessly coat all outer surfaces with an even spray. The lowest volume spray setting worked perfectly for the low viscosity water sealant. No dripping and great control from the nozzle. Cleanup was very easy. This job would have taken me much longer with a brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m impressed with the performance of the Control Stainer 150. I used it to stain a cabinet and it worked flawlessly. I have a big air compressor for painting my pieces but having big tools sometimes doesn’t do the work. The stainer allowed me to cover interior corners with one coat and it made my work easier and faster. I used clear satin coat and I can’t complain. I also painted another cabinet and I diluted the paint to avoid clogs. If you’re looking for a versatile and simple to operate stainer the Control Stainer 150 from Wagner is for you. The handbook explained clearly how to use it and how to clean it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I've always have hand stained my projects. So i thought I would first try spraying a simple shelf I quickly put together. I got the Control Stainer 150 to try out. After practicing on some scrape planks I gave it a go. The end result was fantastic. Honestly iI would probably only use the sprayer on larger or more difficult projects, but I wanted to test my skills on something simpler first. The cleanup was straight forward a fairly quick. I used a water based stain so I can't comment on oil based stains. My next big staining project will most likely be my privacy fence once I get it prepared.

I have owned different spray guns airless and air ,the ControlStainer 150 is a great sprayer. It handled the clear deck coating good. The spray was easy to get use to spraying my swing. I held it about 8 inches away from the legs and boards, it turned out great. The sprayer was not short on power applying the product. Cleanup is very easy. I would recommend this sprayer to anyone wanting to stain or put clear finishes on decks or what ever they want, it would work great. Just do a little practice before starting your project.

From small easy to complete repaint projects, to more involved restoration projects. Let me just say, this sprayer not only met my expectations, but in my opinion, exceeded them. The ability to control the spay direction without having to take apart the nozzle and reassemble the sprayer, makes for quick and easy work. The reservoir is easy to fill, and easy to clean. Clean up is a cinch as well. This sprayer definitely lives up to the name of Wagner and the reputation is in safe hands with this mighty sprayer.
