[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Troy-Bilt 25cc balanced curved shaft gas trimmer came in pieces, but was easy to assemble. The handle is adjustable and can be put in the most comfortable spot to lessen vibrations and to improve the balance. My husband and I selected very different spots due to our heights and weights. This small customization allowed me to work longer without getting so fatigued. The curved shaft gives a clearer view of the unruly grass, weeds, etc. to be trimmed and also allows you to maneuver the bump feed head to the necessary angles to get the cleanest cuts. Because this trimmer is only 10 pounds I can keep it balanced and I don't have the inconsistent scalped edges that my old heavy straight shaft trimmer created. It is lighter, but it is powerful and cleaned up the weeds and tree suckers without a problem. The shield is a good size to protect my legs from dislodged rocks, sticks and soil that occasionally fly out at me. It has a 16 inch swath and duel lines to work quickly, efficiently and consistently to tackle each job. It is recommended that you use pre-formulated canned fuel that includes a stabilizer and no ethanol. A can was included along with a 2 cycle engine oil package. As always, a gas engine is a bit loud and we were sound cancelling ear coverings.
