Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using a gas powered weed trimmer. It was easy to put together and the instructions to start are right on the motor part. I am 5 foot 4 inches tall so I needed something easy to hold and control. I also like that the handle can be moved to fit my arm length so it makes It is easy to hold and maneuver. It is definitely powerful and got the job done fast. I have 2 households that I need to maintain so I need to be able to take in the car with me. It fits nicely right in my Jeep so I can take to my other property and the gas lasts a long time so you can just keep working

Yes, I recommend this product.

Amazing Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need to add a string trimmer to your yard tools, then look no further. Tis Troy-Bilt is the ultimate curved shaft string trimmer you will need. I had owned other string trimmers, but this one in particular is a beast. The 2 cycle weight motor is extremely light which makes it easier for you to work with. I personally love that the curved feature actually allows you to see a clearer picture of what you are trimming, making it super easy on grass edges. Extremely easy to pull start this trimmer. Again, Troy Bilt went above and beyond to make sure cutting grass is a pleasant experience. Great value, high quality materials taken to build this Troy-Bilt Curved Shaft String Trimmer. Highly recommend this beast!!!

Light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a rechargeable weed Wacker for a couple or years now and it worked well for trimming my grass but just did not cut it for the thicker weeds. I got this curved shaft troy built because it is very light weight but strong enough to trim even the toughest weeds that grow around my pond . I have a bad back and was worried about being able to start a gas weed Wacker but I was pleasantly surprised that it started very easily with two pulls. I highly recommend this model for a lightweight model that starts easy and will handle any job in your yard.

Yes, I recommend this product.

tb25cb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this trimmer after having the tb35ec trimmer . i had the tb35ec trimmer for 5 years without any problems, loved the power, the trimming , the straight shaft and the function of the string feeder. the tb25cb trimmer is a big disappointment. the power is hard to control with the trigger, the cutting is terrible, i hate the curved shaft, it hurts my back worst than the straight shaft. the string feeder dosnt seem to work as well as the tb35ec. do not like this trimmer. It feels much smaller than the tb35ec, like its a kids toy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

broke within 5 minutes

This products pull cord locked up within 5 minutes of using it. I was told I could take it to a certified repair shop, which I did. It would cost my $55 but the investigation was subjective to the repair shop on if warranty covered product or not. I cannot return it, as it has 40:1 fuel in it. Ultimately, I am choosing not to invest further in this product or brand so I am out $99. Repair shop advised me not to purchase Troybilt products in the future. Avoid this product/brand. Obviously, I got what I paid for.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, I question the durability of the shaft and trimmer parts. Feels a little on the cheap side, but at this price point you have to have reasonable expectations. Gets the job done, but don't expect a professional grade trimmer. Very light weight but a little short for my height. At 5' 10" the length of the shaft is just long enough to where I can be comfortable while trimming. Luckily I have long arms, but if you are 6' or taller, I recommend you go with a trimmer that has an extendable shaft. This shaft length is not adjustable. You can only adjust the handle grip.*DO NOT over choke the trimmer when you try to start it for the first time. I pulled the cord on full choke about 10 times and I had to wait about an hour for the engine to finally crank up. Try it 5 times max on full choke and then wait at least 10 minutes before trying again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worked Well For My Needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not experienced with this kind of stuff, but needed more help in my yard that I figured I could do on my own with something like this. It is fairly lightweight, though takes some practice to maneuver without using up a lot of string. It feels too long for me at 5 foot 5 inches, but I guess I'll get used to that too eventually. *** Don't panic when you hear liquid sloshing inside the packaging - it's fuel and safe.

Yes, I recommend this product.
