Love this Trex decking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our deck is in desperate need of repair so we are shopping for decking materials. I love this sample piece of Trex decking. It is strong, sturdy and very nice looking. It is soft to the touch-no more splinters from the deck! It is very easy to clean. It sprays right off with a hose. I wasn't able to scratch it, no matter how hard I tried. Trex says you never need to stain again. What a relief that would be! It is made of 95% recycled material so it's easy on the environment. Although I only have a sample, I am very impressed. I gave this review 5 stars but if I could, I would give it 10!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I are in the process of revamping our backyard so we’ve looked at various decking options. This decking is very sturdy, appears easy to clean and waterproof. The product looks like a lifetime product. It looks low maintenance and the color is great, no repainting needed every few years. This is one of the finalist for us, we will be requesting a quote / more info once we finalize the design. I think if this product fits with our budget, this is definitely the product we will go with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received a sample of this today as I’m trying to decide what product to use when I refinish my deck this spring. Honestly, I was a little concerned about using Trex again as that’s what I put down 15 years ago. Well...wow times have changed. I only got a little sample but the color and construction are pretty impressive, some definite improvements over the years! Will definitely be using this product. For the record, the old Trex deck held up just faded really bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive two samples from This company to be able to compare. I received rocky harbor and clam shell. I’ll be honest it’s very hard to pick one favorite the two were beautiful colors. Rocky harbor being lighter almost taupe and clam shell being a darker grey color. I must also admit they are heavy and super sturdy. Both would look excellent on a home and definitely give it that modern upgraded feel. Not only that you would even need to paint or stain it. I like the lock system too. I think it’s an excellent high quality product. If I had to pick one for my home it would definitely be the clam shell. I absolutely love that dark grey feel! Would go well with white trims or even light grey. Anything low maintenance for the home is always a great option. Will save you money in the long run no doubt!

Trex Enhance Saddle sample deck board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brown on this deck sample board is a dark brown which brings out many of the imperfections in the faux wood. From far off, you can’t tell it is fake, but once you touch it you can. The grooves in the bottom are nice and after doing research it is to help with moisture build up and let water run off. I am not sure how the bottom of a deck would get wet, I guess leaking through cracks on top. Overall, very well made and seems pretty solid even though it is faux.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have actually been checking into having a deck put on our house and this sample was just what we needed. the color is perfect and it seems to be a very sturdy material. Living in the Midwest where the weather is ever changing, we need something that will withstand whatever Mother Nature throws at us and we think this is the right stuff. I think we are going to have a new deck soon using this material.

Sturdy, great color for deck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have looked at the Trex 1 ft Sample in the color Clam Shell to see if it would make good material to redo my deck. I think it is very sturdy and has a nice grain to the finish. Clam Shell is a medium to dark brown with gray undertone. It will make a very nice deck that is attractive. I am hoping that it will weather better than natural wood and not warp over time like my wood deck has.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are planning on using a composite material for our new deck and selected this color hoping it would look rich and a deep color and it is!!!! There are many colors to choose from and this one is exactly what we want! The only reason for the 4 stars is I am not sure about the underside of the board. It seems there is less material than other brands but that may be the new industry standard.
