SICO Latex Ceiling Paint - Matt - Pink/White - 7,57 l

We have done our own interior painting for 35 years and I thought 30 years ago we had bought the worse paint with about a dozen hard bits in it that needed to be scraped off the wall and re-roll that area, but this pink dyed ceiling paint far exceeds that. Only had the paint sit at home for 1 week before stirring again and applying with a low pile roller. Coverage was terrible, paint left a bubble texture that needed to be rolled out at least 5 times and roller marks show between rolls even though blending was tried. Worst we have ever experienced. After 2 complete coats we had to buy a different ceiling paint and try to cover on a third coat.

C’est à n’y rien comprendre : nous avons utilisé ce produit il y a environ 5 ans avec et n’avons eu aucun problème. Nous avons donc opté à nouveau pour celui-ci cette année (2024) et c’est une catastrophe! Le produit est épais comme de la mélasse (même si la température de la pièce est normale), il s’étend mal et surtout, il laisse de larges traces en séchant. Comme le disent ici d’autres utilisateurs déçus, plus on donne de couches, pire c’est! Ils doivent avoir changé la recette ou alors, il y a eu une mauvaise batch, mais quelle perte de temps et d’argent!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really like SICO roll on pink ceiling paint. The product is a good price for the quality and value you can in a can. I found that it made it much easier to paint the ceiling with the roll on pink effect. I repainted our hallways and living/dining room ceilings and I found it was much easier then the other brands I’ve used to paint other ceiling in my home in the past. I would most definitely recommend this ceiling paint to anyone painting their ceilings. I also loved how nice and white my ceiling turned out with no lines or streaks. Great product!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Sico ceiling paint with the pink dye was very easy to apply. It's a little thick which makes it easier to apply. I only had to apply one coat which is a great time saver. With the paint going on pink it was so easy to see when I missed a spot rather than having to keep rolling over a section or sections because you can't tell if you missed an area. I also had a couple of areas that had water stains and this paint covered them right up. I am very happy with the results. Thank you for selecting me to test Sico Ceiling Paint!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This review opportunity had perfect timing as I just had my dining room ceiling replaced. I hate painting because I suck @ it. Having said that SICO's ceiling paint w/dye made the job sooo much easier. I was able to backtrack & go over the areas that I missed & there were many. I did find that the dye would tend to swirl in the paint tray so I would give it a quick stir to make sure it was blended nicely. I found the paint to be creamy in a good way. It spread very nicely & I have to say that I'm glad I didn't pay extra for my contractor to paint my ceiling because I'm very pleased with the end result & I did it myself! Bottom line next time I need a ceiling painted would I purchase this product? ABSOLUTELY! Also I totally would recommend it to friends & family.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We had some water marks on the ceiling. This paint covered the marks extremely well and the entire ceiling colour was blended! We were surprised that there was such amazing coverage with two coats of the paint. It went on smoothly and dried quickly. The only minor issue was the fact that my husband is colour blind and had difficulty seeing the difference between the pink paint colour and the white ceiling. I had to point out the areas that required extra coverage. It is an excellent product and we would recommend it.

Nous venons d’acheter cette peinture pour une réparation d’un plafond qui avait été repeint il y a 4 ans à l’aide de la même sorte. Le produit a changé et c’est la pire peinture : couleur beige et non pas blanche et le fini est horrible. Elle s’étend mal, laisse des coup de rouleau même si nous avons bcp d’expérience en peinture! On espère être capable de rattraper le coup en changeant de type de peinture. Possible qu’il faille ressabler. C’est HORRIBLE ce produit! Perte de temps et argent! À éviter à tout prix!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really liked the this ceiling paint. We are redoing our entire home so I have tried several ceiling paints. Some were far to "runny" some were too thick and hard to roll on. Some you just couldn't tell where you painted and where you didn't so it ended up in several coats just to make sure you got it all covered. This paint went on smooth, spread well and no drips. There was not a lot of smell either which was great! However, the best part is the paint contains a pink dye that shows pink when you roll it on and then dries pure white! It's so easy to tell where you painted and you aren't having any missed spots on the ceiling! I did two coats but I probably didn't need to as it covers very well. All in all I will definitely buy this paint for my next rooms. I am very pleased with the results.
