Excellent quality!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We painted 2 floor to ceiling closet doors with a fairly dark wood grain finish. Removed the doors and applied a light sanding with a 400 grade sandpaper by hand as there were no significant scratches or nicks to use a power sander. We used the brush provided as it’s made for smooth surfaces, applied the first coat and allowed to dry overnight. Applied the second coat the next day and didn’t need a 3rd. Reinstall the doors on the following day and it looks great, nice and smooth finish and brightened up the room, feels great! There was some odour while the paint was wet but it was mild. After drying and installed there were no odours. The paint was nice and thick and easy to apply with the brush with almost no drips. The paint did not dry quickly which I didn't expect with melamine paint. I’ll definitely buy this paint for future projects.

Sico furniture and cabinet paint.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I liked it. Covered very well in 2 coats which I allowed to dry 5 hrs between each coat. Clean up was very easy using just soap and water but the best thing was that there was no paint smell. This was very important because it was late fall when I did this and it was too cold to have the windows open. There was zero paint smell in the house.
I am very interested to see how t wears over time, I have high hopes.

Si vous suivez bien toutes les étapes vous aurez un bon rendement.
Attention le fini reste un peu luisant. Ne pas utiliser si vous voulez un effet à la craie…
Il faut bien laver avant, sabler, poser un bon apprêt, re sabler entre chaque couche mince. Peinturer à plat donne un meilleur résultat. Laisser sécher 15 jours avant d’utiliser.
Si vous faites tout cela, vous aimerez le résultat et la résistance

Not worth your money or time!! Buyer Beware!!

I bought this paint to paint the cabinets in a tent trailer I am redoing. Unfortunately, the paint has been nothing but a frustration and disappointment. I have followed the instructions on the can and prepped my cabinets for painting by sanding and priming. However, this paint does not dry well! It's very tacky. I have tried having a fan going, a space heater and a dehumidifier going to help the drying process. It's been over 3 days and it's still tacky to touch...I've only done 2 layers.
After reading reviews it's very clear that it's this product!! Im glad I only did the trailer cabinets and not my actual kitchen cabinets. I feel for anyone who made the mistake of trying it in their home.
I don't usually like to leave negative comments but think it's very important for consumers to be aware that this is an ongoing issue with others who have used the product. Buyer Beware!!!

Bonjour mon nom est Harold Cantillo . J’ai acheté ce produit chez Rona Saint Bruno le 23 juin. J’ai commencé mon projet de rénovation des armoires de cuisine . Le produit n’est pas conforme d’accord à le mode d’usage. Le produit ne sèche pas. J’ai 7 jours en attends que là peinture sèche dans mes armoires et encore est très collant. Je veux savoir comment je peux avoir mon remboursement d’argent.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) La peinture est facile et adhère au meuble. J'ai peint une petite table. deux couches de peinture ont été nécessaires pour peindre toute la table. Vous avez besoin de plus d'une couche de peinture pour couvrir le bois de couleur foncée. Il sèche rapidement en moins d'une heure. Vous n'avez pas besoin de beaucoup de peinture pour recouvrir l'objet. Le résultat est propre et neuf.

Coats Over Another Finish

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tested this paint on my kitchen cabinets that were finished with a varnish. They were quite old cabinets made from a veneered plywood. The paint adhered easily to the finished cabinets. It took about 5 coats to cover the darker finish. The paint created a washable surface. I tried to scuff the durable surface with a pot. It did not flake or chip.

I have used this product several times, over 2+ years I have mostly used it on MDF which we used to construct a bathroom module with shelving and similar piece in two bedrooms and a seat box in the entrance. I have also used on finished bamboo and maple tv tables and a door frame. The results have been perfect. I did apply a primer on all the surfaces first and two coats of the furniture and cabinets paint with less than 24 hours between coats. The finish is very resistant to scratches. I have a dog who has scratched at the entrance box. You can barely see the scratches. There has been no cracking or peeling.bone of the reviews recounted their experience with old kitchen cabinets. I have had the experience of painting wood cabinets many years ago with another product with mediocre results. I learnt later that over the years wood cabinets accumulate grease and oils from kitchen use and hands. That may be the reason from the other reviewer's disappointment.

La couvrance est bonne, avec 2 couches c'était presque parfait (je n'avais pas mis d'apprêt alors les marques de feutre étaient légèrement visible après 2 couches).

J'avais connu cette marque pour peinture mural et j'étais déjà s'satisfaite. J'avais un vieux meuble que je voulais le rafraichir alors j'ai tenté cette marque Sico pour meuble et honnêtement elle m'a encore impressionnée ! elle sèche super vite et si tu fais des gouttes par terre ça se nettoie facilement !

It's heavy duty and feels like its not going anywhere. If you have a project waiting to do I definitely suggest this is the product you use large or small did an amazing job not need for multiple coats either.

Great paint for DIY projects

I loved the color. The first coat took about an hour to completely dry up. The finished product looked great for fact it was done by a newbie like me.

Besoin de peindre des meubles brun en blanc.
Absolument merveillux, nul besoin de poncer les meubles au préalable. Pas besoin de primer, 2 couches suffisent amplement.
Sec après 4 heures, pas collant au toucher ni en déposant des objets dessus. WoW…..merci pour ce magnifique produit !

I sanded down the table, cleaned it really well and then did two coats and it's already looking way better especially considering I didn't use any primer.

Jai acheté le produit pour îlot de cuisine , jài choisi couleur noir apres 4 jours la peinture .ne sèche pas .Jài du resabler et la peinture roulait sous la sableuse.Jài tout recommencé sablé et mettre un primer a huile. Donc plus jamais que je vais reprendre cette peinutre.

I was able to do my desk (2-3 coats) and a cabin (2 coats). I am definitely going to buy any other can to do a wall in my kid's bedroom

Nos chaises ne sont toujours pas sèchent après 3 jours! Nous avons mis une mince couche et 72h plus tard elle sont toujours collante. La température de la pièce est adéquate, l'humidité aussi ainsi que la ventilation. Je ne recommande pas! 60$ et bien du temps de gaspillé!

I bought several cans from this range and abandoned all three cans , very unhappy with the quality of the furniture and cabinet paint how it went on and the fact it scratches easily. I bought other paints in the range and had no issue this seems to be the only bad one

I've had a painting business for years. Used 3 brands of paint only. Decided to use this paint on bathroom vanity 3 days ago. Difficult to work with. Didn't level. Still is not dry.i have company coming over tomorrow and can not use this bathroom because of this.

Easily chips, not scrub resistant

Bought this three months ago to redo kitchen cabinets. Used TSP to clean cabinets to remove all dust and grease. Allowed paint to dry for 2 months. Still this paint chips and scratches easily. Not impressed. This is not scrub resistant.

I have been painting for 30plus years and this product is one of the best i have used and recomend to all my clients brush and roll or spay it comes out with a beautiful finish if your follow the instuction on the label you cant go wrong.
