Paint SICO Evolution - Semi-Gloss - Pure White - 946 ml

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried out the Sico Evolution paint. Color is nice. Reason I gave it 3 stars is because it dries too quickly. If you're someone who wants a quick drying paint, then this one is for you. However, it didn't work for me. I'm not a professional painter, just a DIYer. The reason I didn't like the quick drying is because when I tried to give it a second coat, it would start blotching up (see picture). Therefore, I had to let it completely dry because I can go over it again. I didn't find that with other paints I have worked with. So not the best paint I've worked with but also not the worst. Not sure I would recommend this.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This trial could not have come at a better time. Our entry and hallway were badly in need of a refresh. We chose White Horizon Eggshell finish. This a fresh, clean colour, exactly what we needed to brighten our dark, dingy walls. The SICO Evolution paint went on easily and covered beautifully. We did prime the wall first, so one coat covered, but for a smoother finish we applied a second coat. Great paint to work with, practically odourless, and dried fast. Clean up of brushes and rollers was easy too. We have done a section of wall and our looking forward to completing the rest. Would definitely use SICO Evolution paint again, and recommend to family and friends.

I recently bought this paint to finally redo a small walk-in closet that still had the original beige paint. I've used Sico brand in the past, specifically the Cashmere line. And it was great. Well I don't know what's happened since, but this is terrible, terrible paint. Like others have said, it's streaky, uneven, and I continue to see areas that look like they need to be touched up. This is really inexcusable for a paint+primer that's going over an already light color. My time is too valuable to apply 4 coats of paint (no to mention the cost). I'm not happy with the finished product, but will likely just leave it since it is just a closet. But will never get Sico brand again.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received SICO Evolution Interior Paint in Piccadilly Blue. This was my first experience with SICO paint and it is amazing. My daughter wanted a new accent wall in her room and the previous paint colour was a bright purple, I didn’t believe the SICO paint would be able to cover the purple, boy was I wrong. The SICO paint went on evenly without streaks and zero odour , which is amazing. There was no dripping with this paint and the coverage was amazing. I definitely will buy SICO again and stay away from the cheap brands” of paint, you definitely get what you pay for. The Piccadilly blue is a beautiful colour and I love it so much I will be redoing my bathroom in the same colour.

Je suis responsable de la peinture dans ma maison dans laquelle deux jeunes enfants vivent. Les mains sales rencontrent donc souvent les murs! Cette peinture se nettoie bien, s'applique bien et s'offre dans les mêmes couleurs que les autres marques. Le bémol que j'ai noté, la dernière fois que je m'en suis servie, est que les pots de métal se conservent moins bien que les pots en plastique que nous retrouvont maintenant. Ainsi, je me retrouve à jeter des fonds de peinture plus souvent car de la rouille s'effrite dans le pot. Il est vrai que le produit est un peu plus cher, mais la qualité ça se paie comme on dit! Attendez les rabais, les gallons vienment parfois jusqu'à 50% de rabais!

We painted our entire home using seco evolution paints. It seemed to be a fair price and was their higher tier so we thought it would be a solid option. Boy were we wrong. 4 years later and it still isn't cured hard. You still can't lean anything on a wall without it sticking or leaving a mark. It's absolute garbage. I have previously and since used Benjamin Moore products witch dry hard and wear so much better than this stuff does. Do not waste your time. Painting your entire house takes a lot of effort and you don't want to have to do it twice. If you use Sico, you will be wildly disappointed.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was planning to refresh a wall in my kitchen for some time now and this opportunity to try SICO came at the right time. I wanted to add an accent wall in my kitchen to add some colour to the otherwise bland walls and cupboards. I was intrigued with many colours SICO has to offer and finally decided on “Urban Garden” in semi gloss. The paint was easy to apply with a quality roller and the paint dried nicely, without any streaks or smudges some paint brands leave on the walls. I’m so happy with the accent wall in my kitchen. My white shelves stand out beautifully against this lovely green shade.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received one-gallon of SICO Evolution Interior Paint to trial and to offer my review on. I selected the Freezing Rain colour. The Sico Evolution paint was easy to apply and roll onto wallboard that had been previously painted. The result was a smooth and resilient finish without any bubbles or streaks. I like that this paint is a paint and primer all-in-one product. There was minimal VOC odour that quickly dissipated upon the paint drying. The painted bedroom walls appear professionally finished and the paint dried quickly upon application. The resulting finish and colour is beautiful and consistent. Paint and tools clean-up was quick and easy. This is a highly recommend product from Sico.
