Sico delivers on quality

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The first point of note was the vibrancy of the mixed colour. We wanted something very bright and intense and this product delivered. The second point of note was the easy of application, odour and drying time. Combined, these factors made for a very pleasant painting experience. Finally comes the cleanup - materials were easily cleaned with only soap and water. Overall, a wonderful product that I would certainly recommend.

Sico Evolution is the best paint!!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have my usual brand of paint that I use for rooms around the house that get updated or touched up. I tried a few brands before I chose our usual paint brand. I tested SICO Evolotion eggshell finish and I can’t believe how easy the paint covered. No primer needed to be done prior and the SICO Evolotion has zero odours!!!! This paint covered so great that my husband stated you could get away with just one coat. I did apply the second coat though out of habit. I can now say that we will be buying SICO Evolution from now on. I originally was just painting an accent wall, but we love the colour and the way it turned out so much that we are doing the whole room and upstairs hallway now! I will also add that after two generous coats I still have 3/4 of the gallon left to use towards the remainder walls to be painted. The wall I painted with the SICO Evolution is 8ftx13ft

Dès que j'ai commencé à faire mon découpage je voyais toute suite comment il avait une bonne couvrance et en roulant ça a confirmé ce que je pensais. Avec l'apprêt à l'intérieur ça sauve une étape et c'est vraiment comme si on avait appliqué un apprêt avant. Je suis vraiment satisfaite et je n'achèterai plus une autre marque de peinture puisque ça me simplifie vraiment la vie!

Nous avons renové deux maisons , plusieurs pièces . Testé plusieurs types de peintures et sico evolution est celle qui nous a permis d'économiser beaucou de temps ! Nous n'avons pas toujours eu besoin de plus d'une couche dans certaines de nos pièces rénovées. Économisez beaucoup de frustration et surtout de temps et prenez donc la sico évolution dès le premier coup de pinceau ! Personne ne le regrette!

Nous avons fait un autre mur avec une autre couleur accent (d'une autre compagnie de peinture) donc nous avons bien pu comparer et la Sico Évolution s'appliquait vraiment mieux autant au pinceau lors du découpage qu'au rouleau. La peinture n'est pas trop liquide et a une faible odeur.

Great Paint Makes a Paint Job Easier

We found that the paint went on really well. It was a perfect consistency that provided excellent coverage. We were really happy with how easy it was to apply and how well it covered. This paint really made the job easier. I would probably buy it again.

Great Paint!

The paint mixed well and colour looked identical to paint sample we choose from. Very impressed overall - great coverage. Smooth paint and primer combo

I was happy to find that my paint matched the colour sample very well. When applying the paint, it was a good thickness to hide the previous colour and I was able to paint my walls in one coat as advertised. I would definitely buy this brand of paint again

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used the product on raw, unfinished wood. After the 1st coat I sanded and applied a 2nd and final coat. I found the paint had excellent coverage which I liked. I also found the paint a bit on the thin side, which made loading difficult, and I had to mop up a few drops here and there. Overall a very good product I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Elle ne sèche pas trop rapidement et ne prend pas trop de temps à sécher non plus alors c'est parfait. Cependant, le produit est censé être très cachant lorsque appliqué sur une ancienne peinture, mais dans mon cas ça l'a pris 2 couches quand même.

Nous avons repeinturé notre maison entière à l’aide de cette peinture! Nous avons été très satisfait du résultat final! Aucunement eu besoin de mettre du primeur auparavant et 2-3 couches ont bien couvert l’ancienne couleur. Par contre, elle veux décollé à certain endroit, car nous ne savions pas que la maison était peinturé à l’huile avant.

[Cet avis a été recueilli dans le cadre d’une promotion.] J'avais plusieurs murs a peindre, 3 avec une peinture claire déjà présente et 3 autres avec des peintures déjà présentes foncées ou couleur très vive du coup j'ai eu a peindre 3 murs directement sur une peinture existante Sico Muse, et 3 autres que j'ai recouvert d'appret pour faciliter le recouvrement de l'ancienne peinture foncée. Pour l'application sur l'appret cela a plutôt bien été rien a redire, en 2 couches cela était parfait. Par contre sur les murs avec peinture déjà existante, la peinture avait tendance a "glisser" et a ne pas s'appliquer facilement même en ayant nettoyé les murs avant.... Même en ne mettant que peu de peinture, même en essayant un autre rouleau que celui fourni. Au final il a fallu que j'attends un séchage complet entre chaques couches de peinture et mettre 3 couches pour un résultat correcte.... Donc le gallon de peinture a été utilisé au complet pour une pièce qui mène aurait demandé que la moitié normalement.

After 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint the walls are still not covered. The primer was also Sico which didn't cover well so that I believe is part of the problem but I am really disappointed. I spent a fortune and now it looks worse than not painting at all. I will never use this product again especially in high light rooms

The dark is very rich and the color really shows the undertones (We chose Black Glacier and the underlying blue really comes through). The light color we chose was Maple Tap and was the perfect accent.

The colour did darken considerably upon drying, but it was very close to the colour card sample. I used approximately 3/4 of a gallon to paint a powder room, including the ceiling. I would recommend this product.

Pleased With Sico Paint Results

It spread evenly but still required two coats for a proper finish, even though it was covering a colour that was not much lighter or darker. The finish was not streaked. The consistency was decent but not comparable to higher priced, top tier brands. There was minimal dripping.

Super peinture de qualité. Épaisse et cache bien. Elle se lave bien. Ne pas mélanger deux types de peinture car celle ci n’était plus disponible. On a donc choisis une autre Sico de qualité mais le fini n’était pas le même et la couleur diffère un peu. C’est celle que je préfère. (Mon conjoint est peintre en bâtiment)

It goes on the wall very well in a one coat application. Covers the stains. From finger prints to drywall mud very well. Dries very quickly to touch and a very low to no odor was achieved.

Good area coverage

Currently doing a paint job of my dining room. What I liked about this paint is that it covered a lot of area with relatively little paint and there is also relatively no strong smell after-the-fact. I docked off one star because this paint definitely needs two coats to show prettily; one coat just won't do.

I can usually get a small room painted with two coats of regular paint. I went for the "one-coat" in an effort to save time. The paint is thick so it ran out quickly. I did two coats and will have to go ack to buy more for a third coat. The under colour was not a red or yellow or anything hard to cover.

Bought this paint for a major renovation project, did 2 coats of primer before hand, thinking hey this is going to look fantastic and my clients will be so happy. Wrong. Worst paint I've even worked with. It's been a long 12 hr day for 3 guys and the house looks absolutely horrendous. Avoid at all costs
