BMR Group further expands its store footprint in Ontario

Boucherville, December 10, 2024 – BMR Group and the Eidt family are pleased to announce today that they will soon join forces to better serve southern Ontario customers. The new collaboration will begin on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Well established in their community for 17 years, the family-owned business operates three locations in Mitchell, Exeter and Arthur, Ontario, and employs 23 highly dedicated and talented people. In 2023, Barry Eidt, age 29 and son of Doug Eidt, the company founder, distinguished himself on a national scale and won the Hardlines Young Retailer of the Year award.

The company started its journey with one location in Mitchell and, in 2019, the Eidt family purchased Miller’s Country Store located in Exeter. The store is renowned for its high-quality products and outstanding customer service. In December 2022, the business expanded its footprint and opened a third location in Arthur, which is a hardware store with a much larger focus on paint, electrical, and plumbing, while encompassing traditional categories such as lawn and garden, outdoor living, clothing, and farm and feed.

The new collaboration between the Eidt family and the BMR Group will not only reinforce BMR Group’s brand awareness for additional new dealer opportunities in Ontario, but will also increase sales and logistics to other BMR Group Dealers in the region.
