New administration for BMR Quincaillerie des Rivières in Waterville

Boucherville, March 31, 2025 – BMR Group is pleased to announce that Quincaillerie des Rivières in Waterville, a pillar of the local business community for four decades, has changed ownership as of March 26, 2025.

The St-James family, which until now owned two BMR stores in the Eastern Townships region, will continue to own the Stanstead store and passes the torch to Mr. Gabriel Dionne, a businessman involved in his community, who becomes the new owner of the Quincaillerie des Rivières in Waterville. 

Originally from the MRC de Coaticook, Mr. Dionne is recognized for his leadership and has held several management positions in the town of Mont-Laurier, notably as Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and President of the Association des marchands de la Plaza Paquette. His entrepreneurial background, consolidated by years of experience at the head of his own company, testifies to his solid skills and his commitment to success.
