New administration and a fresh start for BMR Express Esquimau, now BMR Express de Marseille

Boucherville, October 28, 2024 – BMR Group is pleased to announce that BMR Express Esquimau, which has been in business for over 35 years, is now operating under the name BMR Express de Marseille, under a new administration.  

Located in the heart of Montreal's Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district, this neighborhood hardware store was acquired by Canadian Armed Forces veterans Marc Brouillette and Mario Tremblay, following the decision of the previous owner, Mr. Gilles Lambert, to retire. Mr. Lambert remains at their side, however, to ensure a smooth transition and to pass on the knowledge he has acquired over the years in running the successful hardware store he built with his late brother, Mr. Jacques Lambert.

The company's new owners wish to continue offering the same services to local residents, but also have plans to break into the commercial and contractor markets. They also want to get closer to the neighborhood's aging population, eventually offering a delivery service.
