Can't use indoors!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was really excited to get this voxbox from influenster because I had lots of indoor spots that needed to be repaired. However, upon looking at the instructions, it says in big bold letters "DO NOT USE INDOORS". Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it right away and we have recently moved. My new home could use this on a couple of spots, but my moving truck has yet to arrive. I gave 3 stars based on the size of the bottle and other customer reviews. It lost a star because of how it's only for outside. I'd rather have 1 product that I can use inside and outside instead of seperate tubes

Great, easy to use sealant!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Mulco Flextra Clear is great! It was so easy to use and perfect for what I needed it for. I was easily able to secure a loose piece of wood to my deck using this sealant. I’m used to a lot of sealants being white and very noticeable. I love that this product is clear so that I didn’t have to worry about any unwanted colours. I used a caulking gun with the product and it came out very easily.
It holds firm and did the trick! The smell is quite a bit potent, but since it’s being used outside I didn’t mind, but it might be helpful to use a mask while using the product. I will definitely use this product in the future and I’m looking forward to trying it on a few more exterior projects to help seal up gaps.

Easy to apply

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have had some leaky windows for some time and wanted to try sealing it ourselves from the outside. The Mulco Flextra Clear is great for DIY-ers as it is forgiving. My hand isn't as steady as a professional's, but because this sealant dries clear, it isn't very noticeable if it's not neatly done. The sealant comes out smoothly and if you take your time, it spreads well with just the tip. Since adding this seal to our windows, we don't hear the wind howling nearly as much as before. I might try to add some more in case my application wasn't complete. And because it dries clear I am not worried about multiple applications looking obvious. Great product that definitely helped with the draft we were having.

Does its job

It does exactly what you would hope and expect from this type of product. I was happy to receive clear so that I did not have to worry about colour matching, however if I had purchased for myself I probably would have looked to see if a colour match did exist for an even more polished final look. The product does have a bit of an odour during application but seems to dissipate fairly quickly after application. This product seems comparable in quality and ease of application to other brands I have used in the past - the only thing I can't comment on is longterm durability yet, of course - but I don't foresee issues at this time.

Clear-ly does the trick

Very excited because it came in the mail at the perfect time. I have been on the hunt for something in the market that can help seal a few area around my house. I recently used it to seal my windows and basement door -- I was impressed by the fact that it is a multi-matrial adhesive, which made it easier for me to use. Great quality!!
So far we have had a few heavy rains out here in Canada, but it survived the storms despite being newly used. I have lots more of the sealant left, can't wait to use it around the house.
I will recommend this product -- as long as you are okay with the strong smells during use.

Great calking - near invisible.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Great caulking. Came out of the tube smooth - easy application. Used it to seal screen porch from insects. Sealed great and was almost invisible when it dried - not at all cloudy. The only issue I had was that the nozzle was about 1/2” too long. When I used the seal puncture pin, the nozzle was too long (I cut the tip so I could have a small diagonal cut for my application) so I had to use something else to puncture the seal. Nothing crazy, just an inconvenience that I’d never run into before. Other than that, was a great product. Would recommend.

Vous pouvez l’utiliser pour les portes, fenêtres et parements. Dans mon cas, je l’ai utilisé pour les fenêtres de mon véhicule récréatif. Relativement facile d’utilisation, j’ai été extrêmement satisfaite du résultat final! J’ai aussi reçu des commentaires sur ce produit disant qu’il était extrêmement durable sur le long terme. Je continuerai d’utiliser ce produit sans aucune hésitation.

Clear and simple

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have very old windows and really needed to seal them because they are very crafty, especially in the colder months. I had gaps between my window and the mulch flextra clear solved this problem and the best part is it is clear and easy to use! I’m excited to use this on my other front windows to help with the ongoing issues with cold drafts in the basement. The first picture of my window shows the gap and the second picture of my window shows how it was sealed! I received this product free to try through influencer.

Quick and clean

This sealant is flexible, durable and adheres to most surfaces. Dries to the touch in 2 minutes and remains glossy and dirt-free. Ideal for exterior applications.
It is a thick application compared to some other brands but I assume this is how it remains so durable. Next project will be some other cracks to fill in. The clear sealant is great and quite unnoticeable when applying smoothly.

I have some eavestrough that has been leaking where the seams overlap. This sealant works fantastic. It gets the job done quickly without any bad odours or sticky mess. It rolls off your fingers for easy clean.up. The flexible material mskes it the perfect product for this job. It is waterproof and stands up well to hot weather. No more dripping eaves! Now, to tackle my windows, and door trim.Very happy with this product.

Amazing Results!!

I have not heard of this brand prior to trying it so I was bit skeptical. The consistency of the product was great. I applied it to my windows as there has always been issues with frost coming through in the winter months and can already see that it helps with humidity coming through. It cured perfectly and left a clean finished look in the end. I will definitely be purchasing more very soon!

Works great and dries well

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I wish I hadn’t cut the tip of the tube at the lines because it made the installation so much messier. I had first cut the tip using the hole in my caulking gun but the spike wouldn’t reach down inside to puncture the tube, and was too thick to go into the caulking gun cutter hole any further. I was able to slice through easily with a box cutter but I would have preferred a smaller hole for neater application. Overall it was easy to use and looks nicer than the old degraded sealant I stripped off.

Used this sealant around my bathroom sink. So far so good. You can use this around windows, and doors also. Seems to be holding up well. Not bad. I really think it’s like others I have used to the past. No difference, not like it stands out from the rest. This is for exterior use, but I wanted to try around my sink. Left window open, to help with the smell.

Easy to use

The instructions on the packaging were easy to follow, so I did not have a hard time opening and getting the product ready. It did take a minute for me to get used to the flow of the product, but it became easy enough and I was able to finish the job. It squeezed out nicely and consistently once I got the hang of it.

Applying sealant takes a bit of practice but it is easily peeled away if you make a mistske. Comes in different colors but i received a clear transparent one. Blends nicely to the application surface and isnt obvious. After it cures, it appears to block out liquids without any issue. Only con is that the product has a smell that eventually goes away with time.

Efficient and easy to use

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) For years we’ve had a gap between the frame and the astragral in our bedroom door. (It leads to outside) every winter it’s an issue because it lets cold air in.
With the Mulco Flextra clear I was finally able to fix that gap and seal it so that we’ll be warm in the winter.
The Mulco Flextra clear is easy to use, handles well and dries fast. It’s almost odourless so you don’t have to worry about that.
A great product that I would recommend and use again.

The Mulco Flextra is a clear sealant that is extra flexible and durable. It’s for exterior use only.
My husband was in construction before he retired so I asked him to do this mission for me. He used the Mulco Flextra Clear sealant and caulking to seal the joints around the window frame on our balcony. He was very impressed with its quality. This sealant is an excellent multi-material adhesion. The smell is pretty strong but it disappears after a couple of days. He likes the fact that it’s resistant to our Canadian weather. After 5 minutes, the sealant was completely dry. Its consistency and texture makes it easy and smooth to apply.
He recommends this product for its superior quality and its excellent performance.

The application process was easy, it glided on smoothly and I didn’t have any issues with it. I love that it is clear so it doesn’t look dirty when dirt gets on it. It’s also waterproof and quite durable so it will be good going into the cold weather months to help keep drafts away! The only negative is the scent is very strong. Otherwise great product.

It was easy to apply and so far holding up well. I used it on my shed in the backyard and like the clear option against the wood shed looks so much cleaner than a white colour. Husband has used various caulkings and says this one is great. The thickness is just right and are able to control it well for a nice clean finish.

It dries quickly and a bonus that it is clear so it’s not noticeable and doesn’t leave a huge mess! We also used it on a single pane window in our upstairs where there is barely a “sill” and it blends in perfectly with the glass. Would highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing a draft around windows and doors. 5 stars!

I have recently been all hands on deck when it comes to diy and am always looking for seamless hassle free products, and the mulco flextra clear is definitely one of those! I loved how easy it was to use and squeeze out of the tube, this made application very easy. I decided to test the sealant out on my outdoor windows and doors as with 10 years of living in this house I am noticing some drafts sneaking in. It worked very well. I love that it is waterproof and dried fast and clear! The only wish I have for this product is that I wish there was a way to control the thickness, I tried cutting a smaller piece of the tip but you do have to cut a big portion sized hole to allow the sealant to come out. Other than that I will definitely be buying this again to complete other DIY projects around the house to keep the ac in and the heat and bugs out!

Worked exactly for what I needed

This opportunity appeared next so I thought I’d try it. I used this product to seal around the air conditioner. It works great! I also had some cracks on my siding and it sealed them perfectly well. Very easy to use if you have a caulking gun. I would recommend this product for any job that falls under the use of it.

Seals well and easy to use

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have applied Sealants before which have been messy, sticky and a nightmare. This sealant was a breeze!
Cutting the tip was easier than others and it came out of the tube easily.
I applied it to an outside kitchen window and opening surrounding an outdoor vent.
It was easy to apply, non-sticky and applied well.
I found it was easy to smooth after application.
So far it seems to be staying put and hasn’t weathered or become dirty looking. The sealant is nice and clear and not cloudy like other brands. It looks good with my white siding. The sealant feels strong and durable and will likely last a long time. It’s been a wet summer and it’s holding up well. There was more than enough to do both jobs and a bit left that I will use on an exterior door.
Mulco has always been a reliable brand and our go-to. Will be adding this sealant to our must-use!

I do wish that it was paintable, I usually would choose a white sealant because the clear ones tend to yellow over time especially if you cant paint over it with good coverage where it may be visible. Overall I'm really happy with how it sealed the frame around my windows and will be using it on my side door next.

Nowadays there are lots of options that do not require a caulking gun. But the finished results were good, smooth consistency and application, you have a little bit.of time to fix before it solidifies. I look forward to seeing the most important piece: how long this will last!

Great for DIY projects

I like doing DIY projects around the house, and you can tell the difference between what I can do vs. a professional, so this is a great product for someone like me. The smell is quite strong at first, but I’d say the same about other sealants. It’s a good product, spreads well and does what it’s supposed to do (ie seal!)

I just change the washroom sink and used this mulco flextra sealant for little project. I got it on right time. Sure recommend for for beginners too. I will be using this for next diy as well. I am also beginner as well. My concern will be if stay clear over time , I saw some of them turn little yellowish!!
