USB Rechargeable Magnetic Hard Hat Headlamp - 450 Lumens

The light color temperature and flood are great, but the battery life stinks. I work outside in the oil field. When it gets cold at night, the batterie life is worse. This product would be better with two 2 removable 18650 batteries. I have since bought a headlamp from fenix and it blows this away. If the battery dies, i just grab another off the charger and dont have to wait all day for a recharge.

this is the worst headlight i have other headlight from milwaukee and this is trash the button to turn it on and off is very small also there is no USB C port to charge it, in the other headlight they have usb c and now they are going back to the old usb this is crazy it makes no sense i never had any issues like that with the previous headlight

Has been on my hardhat for over 2 years. Rained on, dropped, and alot of use. Working with the tools or as qc, it hasn't failed me yet. The best part is always having the light readily available. Just turn it on when needed or grab it off there and point it where needed. That or slap it on a scaffold pan above you and have some area light.

I recently bought this light from the big box store and glad I did. I've been using the AAA Milwaukee headlamp for a while now and it's really good but it eats batteries like crazy. When I saw this I had to try it and glad I did. This thing is super bright and comfortable to use. Overall great product and I recommend it.

I have had this 2012R headlamp for a few years and really like it for work around the house. Having said that, the battery life was bad to begin with, now it is REALLY BAD. I would like to try a replacement battery to see if that helps. If it does, and holds, this would be a 5 with the comfort and all the features.

Many options for having different amounts of light. Works great for up close work. Many reviews about the battery not lasting. It would be great if it had better capacity or could be used while charging. Milwaukee states it will last 2 1/2 hours and it does so I’m not sure why so many reviews trash it for that.

As a Pest Professional my lights are used all day. This light was my favorite for the first six months or so but it started losing life early on and now will not hold a charge . I wish the battery could be replaced like my other Milwaukee lights

Love it but the battery life is terrible, I wear it at work and by the time I need to use in around 5pm the battery only lasts around 20 minutes. It hasn’t been terribly cold either. Around 0 degrees, really though it would be better

I use this on a hard hat every day for weld inspection. I have the red lithium and the AAA battery Milwaukee headlamps as well, this is my favorite. Lightweight, bright, rechargeable and the the detachable/magnetic is very handy.

Bought these for my guys on the job site, great light and really like the fact that the detach and have the magnet feature, my only complaint is that I wish it was a little brighter and the beam projected the light further out.

I love the idea of the head lamp and it was my favorite light for about 3 months, but now the battery won’t hold a charge. For the price I pay for Milwaukee tools I expect to have superior tools. I am very disappointed.

I was excited to find this guy and have a rechargeable version of my favorite headlamp and I really like the detach ability it has but it didn’t make it 3 weeks and it flashes red and green and won’t charge anymore.

With the exception of battery life, love it. Not fun when in the middle of a job and it starts to flicker and goes out. I do like that it’s lightweight. Fits well. And plenty bright for what I need.

i use this light for mechanical and home use. the battery lasts for hours on medium setting. plenty of time to do most jobs. it is lightweight and bright. the magnetic base is great.

Love the lights, multiple options for light levels, ability to remove from head band and stick on metal surface. Dislike the USB b connector, everything else I have is USB C.

It combines the best of all lights. Rechargeable being a big plus, but the ability to detach and place the light on a work surface via magnets is icing on the cake. Love it.

battery life is terrible. this light spends more time on the charger then in use. guess i’m glad i have a cheap duracell headlamp that lasts at least an hour. not 15 min

Nice size and easy to use buttons. however battery does not last as long as advertised. only been using for about 2 weeks. Does not look like batteries can be replaced.

Your batteries lacking so much so it will not take a charge anymore. I cannot find a replacement battery pack specifically name for this product.

Using this light installing lighting in a drop ceiling where the electrical is above ceiling. Light only lasts 10-15 mins very disappointed

I should have read the reviews first.. I thought the battery was a dud, turns out they’re all duds. I can’t recommend this one.

Strap fits good. Just mine dies quickly. Here in Texas gets dark early and pull this out and dies with 15-20 min

Battery won’t hold the charge but maybe 15 minutes and then goes dead alfter it saying it’s full on charge

Good but light seems to dim fast. I like it but for the money should work better

Not sure if i got an updated model or something judging by these other reviews, but this is the absolute best freakin headlamp i have seen anywhere!! Battery life is definitely dang near 2 hours on high setting in my experience, at first i thought not but when youre working at night in a garage 2 hours goes quicker than youd think. Low settings can definitely push it longer, although i find it hard to change from the high sometimes because man its so bright!! Dont even need stand lights half the time bc this thing is more than enough. Literally drove a golfcart in pitch black w no other light but this on high and it was awesome!! Everyone ive showed has been blown away. The magnet holder is truly the best most useful part about it. Dont need to crane your head to see in tight spots or carry an extra pen light for them - just pull it off and angle it so you can see where you need to, and when youre done it goes back on the head super easy. The ONLY reason im giving 4 instead of 5 stars is i really really want them to work inside the charge controller so that this bad boy can turn on while being charged from a power bank or usb plug etc. Either that or put an inductance charger in the magnetic holder and one of the redlithium 3.0 batts on the back of the head strap like other models... i use this thing every dang day and i want more!!
