Titanium Drill Bit - Shockwave - 7/64"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the chance to test all of pieces in this 15 PC TIN SHOCKWAVE set and use quite a few in one of my recent home projects. These drill bits are quite durable and sturdy. There is a good variety of different size bits. The storage case is nice and keeps everything organized. I was able to test them on both wood and aluminum— they went through both materials quite easily and smoothly. Installation and use was straightforward and easy on both of my drills that I tested them on. Time will tell how well it holds up to multiple, longer use, but I am quite satisfied with the performance so far. I only have home projects periodically, so this is more than suitable for my needs. I would happily recommend this set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these drill bits to drill through some 1/4" steel for a weekend project. My cordless impact worked great to chuck directly onto the drill bit hex shank. I actually think these would work better on an impact than a drill chuck as the impact has the actual hex lock. As easy as these went through steel I am sure they would have no issues with plastic or wood as well. The larger drill bit in the set have the special quad edge tip which worked well to get a good drill bit start. Overall, I am impressed with how well these performed. I think I will get through lots of weekend projects using these bits as they do not even look worn from my first project. The molded storage case adds a nice touch as well for easy storage and organization.

I use on a daily basis any combination of these bits for anything from wood to hard metal. I’ve noticed these will fill after a few metal jobs. But as far as using for wood they are amazing even if the top has filled from hard metal usage. I don’t know if that’s carry any kind of replacement warranty if dulled but really would like to find out. I am a heavy Milwaukee user and regular Milwaukee enthusiast as well as unofficial brand embassador. I eat sleep and breathe Milwaukee tools and I share my thoughts and enthusiasm with others.

Needed to replace them for a new project and it was a better deal to get a whole new kit than replace individual bits. Milwaukee has always stood out to me as a high quality tool manufacturer so I went with these over the other brand of bits I already had. I really liked that these were compatible with both a drill driver and a impact driver as I have both (my old bits were drill driver only). My project only involved drilling through wood and some drywall but they worked fantastic. Primarily used my impact driver too (it’s lighter) which I was a little hesitant about at first but worked just as well as my drill driver. No broken bits either. Overall, very happy with these!

They chew through wood and aluminum quickly, efficiently, and accurately, without wandering off. I'm not smart enough or skilled enough to get into specifics on bit patterns, grooves, and all the technical stuff: They're drill bits, and they work quickly, and that's all I care about since I'm not building bridges. Great set of all the sizes you'd usually need, in a sturdy plastic case that looks like it will hold up long term.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great set of bits, no warping, sharp! Hard case for storage that is very easy to get bits in and out of. Locks to prevent spills when walking and falls out of your pocket or if you're kinda clumsy like me. Speed-wise they cut excellent, as always make sure you dimple your project before drilling to ensure the best location. The inclusion of the hexagon perfect since so many users today are using quick-change cordless drills. Very happy with these and I hope they last long term!

I bought this 3 years ago and I use it occasionally around the house but not to the point that any of the bit should be breaking. The 2 smallest ones (both 1/16") broke recently, which is quite surprising. These bits are advertised specifically to be "up to 3x life vs. black oxide". My other furstration with this product is that the case holds the bits very tightly, making it difficult to slide the bits out without tearing a little skin around my fingernails.

It is incredibly durable and never lets me down. The tapered head on the bits give me a quick and splinterless bite each and every time. I have successfully used this set on metal, wood and even plastic with the same stellar results with each time. I am incredibly impressed with this impact drill set and would not hesitate to purchase another.
