Superior drill bit set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Milwaukee Shockwave is quite a bit different type of drill bit than I'm used to using so I was skeptical of the quality at first. That skepticism flew out the window at first use. These bits cut through metal like butter due to the quad edge cutting tips with the added advantage af minimizing possible bit travel/wandering. The titanium construction promises to provide many years of usability as compared to others. Great job Milwaukee!

I like to fix stuff around the house, build small things and this Drill Bit Set is perfect for my every day use. I can use it in wood, metal and PVC . Bought these bits because of the Milwaukee name, but have truly been disappointed. First off it is so hard to pull the bits from the case. I've cut myself pulling bits from the case before. At first I thought these bits were pretty good, but I was drilling into soft materials. When trying to drill into harder materials, its like pushing the bit through instead of actually drilling. I would not buy these again ... period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the short time that I’ve had these drill bits I have used them extensively. I love the case they come in. The bits flip up and they are easy to pull out. And the case has a slide latch on it that works very well. The bits have an integrated hex shaft so it fits directly into several different tools with or without a chuck. I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and this is another great set of drill bits.

I tend to go cheaper, but these are so well made and have remained sharp, that I am really impressed and would recommend. I have yet to break one(which I tend to do with the smaller sizes). The box is a nice size too, easy to find the bit you are looking for, and to put it back in(Hopefully I won't lose any now).

I've bought super expensive to super cheap and I have never had any drill bits that work as well as these. It's unique design fits into drill chucks better and seem to easily drill through metal. After trying these, I won't go back to any other brand. This still bit set has found a permanent home in my toolbox.

I was not disappointed of the sharpness they showed right out of the package. The products I was drilling was a thin hard metal and by starting with a smaller bit and ending at the size hole I needed these bits drilled a nice and easy along with a smooth hole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was using it to drill in to the hard surface, it was able to, with just a little force/push, behind the drill, I was able to go right into the material. I haven’t experienced a snapped bit so far. The only downside is that I would make the plating on it, strips real quick. Like the color of the bit is what I’m referring to.

I had no problem quickly drilling through 1/4" thick angle iron. (15 holes) total. I did step through a series of pilot holes before finishing with a 3/8" hole.

Within the first 5 minutes of inboxing 1 bit had bent at the shank, 1 had shattered and 1 broke in half. Used on mild steel, not even hss.
Bought a step bit as well, tip broken off during first use. What garbage and no warranty? Seriously disappointed in this product.

What's with the case?

The drills work fine but the design of the case is terrible. The only leverage you have to move the racks forward or extract the bits are the drill bits themselves. Leaves me wondering if I'm missing something, like a clever tool or tip to get them in and out easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I can pop these in my impact and drill away quickly. The only problem I’ve had, and it isn’t with the bits, but there is always a little slop in your impact, so for precise jobs I’d recommend using a regular drill chuck.
