Superior General Purpose Design
I initially purchased this hammer to complete a roofing job on a house. I did not initially intend to buy another hammer when I begin preparing for my roofing project, but noticed that these basic tools had evolved considerably since earlier competitive designs that I have used for more than 35 years on various projects. The magnetic nail holder was the main feature that prompted this purchase and I chose the 22oz Milwaukee steel framing hammer after I literally tested it against five similar new competitive designs in the store with a board and several nails of different size. I chose the Milwaukee due to its balance, feel, construction, and ergonomics. In my opinion, the only questionable design element is the choice of a clear coat finish on the non-striking steel surfaces that is easily marred. It would also benefit from a side nail puller employed by some of its newer competitors. The quality of the steel and handle grip material has been outstanding. Despite subsequent heavy use, including demolition, the materials, construction, and superior design of this hammer have made it my default hammer for general usage.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Metal soft
The hammer claw bent when pulling a rather easily held nail. It seems when forged it was not hardened correctly and the metal is too soft.
No, I do not recommend this product.
