Bit stuck!
I just picked this thing up to reach some hard to get to fasteners, test fit the flat head, and its stuck forever, I've even tried putting it in the vice and using a wedge and vice grips. This thing is trash, going back to ace. You can't tell me you didn't know this junk didn't work when you were in the R&D process.

I will never recommend this tool.

It would be nice to say how I use this but it is not useable. The pivot knuckle is in the package at 30 degrees and is supposed to also pivot back to straight. However it does not pivot. It is stuck at 30 degrees. I have watched videos and seen how it's supposed to work but this one just does not.
No, I do not recommend this product.

CAN'T TAKE THE BIT OUT!
I tried to take the bit out and I broke the bit inside the tool! I think it was poorly designed (no quick release) and that it should be recalled! It just give Milwaukee a bad name for accessories! Personally I don't think it's an effective marketing strategy! Very disappointed customer!!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Works great! Just have to wiggle the bit out. Just pull hard and wiggle. Great addition to my tool box. I do masonry work and this is perfect for concrete form boards. Always In the dirt with conventional bits. This gives the perfect angle to keep your tools out of the mud/dirt
Yes, I recommend this product.

Awful bit of kit.
As other reviewers have stated, once I fitted one of the supplied bits, I'm now unable to remove it.
As a recent Milwaukee convert, I find it disgraceful you are still selling this when you've know about the issue for at least a year.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi Mick - thanks for your review. We recommend wiggling the bit rather than trying to pull it straight out, that will loosen the ring within the bit holder and release the bit for you.

Wiggle the bit while lightly pulling on it and the bit will release!

When I saw this knuckle bit holder and saw that it was impact rated, I decided to buy it.
It came with the phillips #2 bit inserted in it. I was just as frustrated as the other reviewers as I could not get the bit out. I was thinking once the phillips bit was in need of replacement that the whole unit was going into the garbage.
I tried everything to get the bit out without any success. I was just about to throw this thing in the garbage but decided to search online for this issue.
While I was reading reviews on this knuckle, I was fiddling with it and was wiggling the bit while reading. Low and behold while wiggling the bit and applying some pressure outward, the bit came out. I have had the bit in and out multiple times without any issues. Even did it one handed.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a great addition to my accessories, yes it true getting the bit out is difficult unless you figure out the trick, then it's easy, I'm glad I don't write bad reviews on something before I figure out how it workes.

Bought this for home use. Couldn't figure out how to change angle so looked at a YouTube. Piece of cake. To remove bits, wiggle and pull. I didn't experience any of the negative issues mentioned.
