REDLITHIUM XC M18 Lithium-Ion - 5 Ah - 18 V - 2/Pkg

I actually bought two two packs of these Milwaukee batteries. Couldn't be happier with the experience. Can use these on my drill and impact drill for a couple of days during heavy use before I have to actually stop and charge them. And that's even after I have switched them out with other tools that I have. I like how I can check power consumption by just pushing the button on the battery. I know Milwaukee makes a heavier capacity battery, but these work great for me. Joe

The XC5.0 simply gets work done, and is my go to power source for drilling, driving, cutting, nailing, etc. The power to weight ratio is well balanced, the batteries charge quickly on a rapid charger, and are not terribly awkward in most tool use applications. Of course, I have larger and smaller battery options on hand, but do not use them nearly as often as my 5.0's. I've never had a faulty XC 5.0 of the roughly dozen or so that I own.

First, I love Milwaukee tools. They never let me down, whether it's working inside, outside, at -27C or whatever! I once dropped one in the freezer from 15 feet in -27C. The plastic case broke (not surprisingly). I glues it back together & it still works to this day. :) My ONLY beef is the packaging these batteries came in!!! Tough plastic, tight to the batteries, hard to cut, IMPOSSIBLE to rip. :( But other than that... I love them.

Got these batteries as part of an acme tools bundle and have loved the same 5.0 batteries I got last year. Unfortunately the experience with this product begins on a sour and painful note as the retail packaging is one of the worst 'blister packs' I've seen in a long time. It took be about 20 minutes with a set of pliers, scissors, and side cutters to effectively destroy the packaging to be able to get the batteries out.

These are incredibly strong and long lasting. I first purchased the milwaukee m12 drill and impact driver for home use. Those toold have impressed me with thier compact lightness and the strength with the torgue they have is awesome. I have used those for 4 years now and decided this year to start buying the m18 tools to gain a little more strength. Milwaukee make great tools in whatever you choose to buy.

I purchased an impact with one of these batteries. Then the battery stopped working after 3 weeks. Would say it was charged but wouldn't work. Sent it in for replacement and Milwaukee denied my request for replacement. Stating it was ineligible. Even with proof of purchase. 3 weeks of use!!! I have old xc batteries from 2008 that still hold a charge. So much for Milwaukee's warranty.

These batteries just do not quit. Still have 3 bars after a solid 7 hrs of use on a given day. Plenty of power to do the job. Could be a tad expensive but with a package it makes it a no brainer.

I found the Milwaukee XC5 batteries last a long time And hold up really well I have been using the M 18 batteries for over eight years now and I have never had a XC5 battery go bad on me yet
