As advertised; a very good inspection tool.

The beam of this light has just the right intensity for up close and a great diffusion that reduces glare. I'm very impressed with the color temperature. It's very close to natural daylight. The rubber "bite area" was a nice touch- no more risking a chipped tooth. All these details show me that a lot of thought went into the design.

Dosnt hold up to daily use

I have had this pen light for a little over a month as a service engineer I Sue’s this for inspections daily I have not even had to replace the original batteries yet and the rubber button end is about to brake off can’t find a replacement anywhere if this held up for more than one set of batteries this might be a great flashlight.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. I purchased this penlight fomy Dad for Christmas. It has only lasted 1 month before he had it in his front pocket using the clip, which he lived.it went pop and didn't turn on and now flickers and goes out. The rubber switch has a hole. I'm very disappointed as I expected this to last longer than 1 month!

Best penlight for the money out there, period.
EDC (everyday carry) item for me. I really do use this bad boy everyday. The rubber cap makes it super nice to quick bite and hold while freeing up both hands for multiple tasks. Only thing I wish was different was that it came with replacement rubber caps! They wear down quick!

I use the light very rarely... great flashlight until the rubber coated on/off button breaks . This definitely looks like a flaw in materials used.... I bought it thinking it would last a long time. I would include photos but are just like the ones posted. Also when you redesign make it rechargeable it's 2023 come on man ....

This light is a great light. It has excellent power, excellent color temperature. I purchased a 2 pack approximately 6 months ago. The only downside is the rubber power button cap rips / tears after a few months of gentle service. These caps were not bitten or pinched, but tore anyways. Otherwise, it has been great.

The penlight is aluminum, nicely knurled; rubberized towards the switch for grip. Switch is excellent. Simply on and off. Just what is needed. No mode cycling.
The red clip is metal.
Milwaukee has got exactly the right functional mix, durability (that I can see upon first use), size, and appearance.

Good light, but has some flaws

This has been a great little light. I use it every day at work. Problem is the rubber cover over the switch broke off and makes it a pain to turn off and on. Now, the bulb has stopped working and I cannot figure out how to access the bulb to replace it, nor can I find directions on how to replace it.

Really like the tint of the LED easy on the eyes, The brightness is just right and the size is just right also. My only complaint is the rubber switch cap tearing off the very end. How can I replace it. Thanks !!!

I used this light on an almost daily basis for minor finish inspections and company quality control. Recently the rubber button on the end came off and the light is basically useless. Is very difficult to turn on and most times will not come on. Was a great light until it fell apart.

Yea this is one awesome little light. Super bright for only 2 AAA batteries. Would upgrade to 5 if I didn't have to take a friggen hacksaw to the packaging. Like seriously, had to use a box cutter to get this this out. Other than that it's a great little light and a new upgrade to my EDC.

Disappointing Quality

This is an excellent pen light. Easy to use and reliable. It was great until the rubber cap over the power button fell off. I now have to use a pencil to turn it on and off making it very inconvenient. For a pen light that cost a lot of money it doesn’t last nearly as long as it should.

Would not buy again

Bought a 2 pack a few months ago. Both now need to be shaken to work half the time. Both have buttons that have exploded with a bang so loud I thought it was a gun shot. Probably caused by me leaving them in my car in cold Minnesota weather and then using them in a hot building.

I’ve been carrying this in my pocket for about a year now and I can’t explain how many times it has paid for itself. The rubber bite end is amazing and the light is super bright for its size. The batteries last so long as well. This pocket flashlight is a must for everyone.

I operate a press and welding machine making the cooling fins for power transformers. I needed a pen size torch that fits in a pocket for inspecting the finished weld for defects.
I was not expecting this great performance in such a small package. I'm impressed.

Love this little bright light. I recently retired as a service plumber. I used this light several times a day when working and now that I'm home it has become my go to light. My only gripe is I need a new bite rubber and haven't seen where to find one.

button fell off within months. store won't take care of warranty. had to buy snap-on light that is very similar. it has held up well. don't waste your money. buy quality. I have bunch of other milwaukee stuff that I love. very dissapointed in light.

I use this light at work everyday. Bought it because the Milwaukee name and expected to hold strong like most of my tools. But it only lasted 4 months! Changed new batteries and it doesn’t come on. It sure didn’t last as expected. Very disappointing!

Endcap is not durable

I love this light but the endcap is not durable. I have purchased two of them and use them frequently. One the endcap is completely chewed through making it unusable, and the clip is broken. The other has seen much less use and is working fine.

I've had this penlight for about 6 months now. Use it daily. plenty of bright light for tight areas. As others have said the tail cap rubber cover gave up about 3 months ago. Would only buy again if switch is redesigned to a more rugged design.

I carry this light in my shirt pocket. It is quick and convenient and has plenty of light to cast wherever I need to see. The 100 lumens of Truvue LED light exceeds any of my expectations. By far the best "pen" light I have ever had.

Singing others’ refrain: good light/mediocre switch. I’ve been through three lights. The rubber end, then the switch itself, craps out. Nice light to carry everywhere, but tired of frequently replacements. Lasts about 12-15 months.

I use this light at work and as an edc. The button has started to break and the light goes dim and I have to hit it to make it bright. Only had it for about 3 months. This is the only Milwaukee product I’ve ever had issues with.

They’re great except the clip it breaks.called for replacements was told they will send new clips never saw them needed 3 now need more.would i recommend them yes great light but send extra clips or fix the/update the clips

I bought this light to use at work. Worked great until it got water splashed on it. Afterwards, it works when it wants to and then it often flickers. I thought Milwaukee made better products than this. Disappointed.

I love this light. I use it for quality inspection at work almost daily. That being said the packaging it came in from my store was awful! I had to chop the entire package to pieces in order to get the light out.

Only had it a week now, but I love it. I am an auto tech and it is great for car inspections and for doing various service jobs. One thing, If milwaukee made a rechargeable version I would buy it in a heartbeat.
