Pen Light with Clip - Aluminum - 100 Lumens

I got this flash light for a birthday present on Feb of 2024 and by May 13, 2024 it stopped taking a charge. It would only flash red and never turn green when fully charged up. After 12 hours of full charging it would only last 30 minutes, if I was lucky. I'm giving this flash light 3 stars because the company is standing behind its product and mailing me out a new replacement flash light. I was a great flash light until it just stopped taking a charge. I used the flash light everyday at work. I currently using my old Milwaukee flash light that uses batteries again, "AAA". I'm trying to not use as many batteries, not good for the environment.

I bought this AAA penlight specifically because it has the rubber bite zone. I often need to hold a light with my teeth while I use both hands. At first I balked at the price, since it was twice that of another brand of AAA penlight I've used for over a decade. I justified the expense because of the rubber bite zone and the brand. After six weeks the tail cap switch started to fail. It takes several attempts to get the light to work. Other problems cropped up: the light will flicker and the light output became inconsistent. I'm disappointed. I own several Milwaukee power tools and I expected more from this light.

This is a great reliable flashlight. It is only 100 lumens but I am really happy with it. I have found that 99.9% of the time I really don’t need anything brighter than this. Also the color of the light produced is great for identifying wire colors. Some other lights have a very blue LED and it makes it very difficult to identify wires. It is very rugged. And I get a lot of use out of it before needing to change the batteries. The rubber at the end is helpful for those times when you don’t have enough hands and have to hold it in your teeth. This is my EDC flashlight and I don’t plan on switching anytime soon.

On the positive side, this was a very bright light and fit a need. Durable and just the right size. However, after owning it about a half year or so, the light started to dim, progressively getting worse. I finally opened it up to see what was going on and found one of the batteries originally included had broken and was leaking, and the other had acid buildup at the contact with the lamp. I don't think it can be further disassembled due to design, so I can't troubleshoot or try to clean it better. Was happy with it initially, but final verdict is it may not be worth the investment for you should it fail. There are cheaper options on the market that would produce the same results.

I'm a journeyman lineman and that puts me to work in some of the worst weather which includes a lot of night shift...my first one I carried every day for 2 years..rain, snow, and every major storm and hurricane on the east side if the country...I've done a lot if work with that light after my headlamp died while I was 40'-50' in the air on a utility pole holding it in my teeth...only because its rubber coating u can do that....I've dropped it from that high more than once...its a tough little flashlight...I've got a lot of buddies carryim g one after listening to me brag mine up... just wish it was rechargeable and the option to zoom from spot to flood...but I'm gonna keep carrying it

i'm a diagnostic tec and have used this light for at least 3 years (maybe more) every day as a pocket inspection light. I have a "better" light now that costs 3x as much, with more functions and greater light output but I still carry this light right next to it. Its simplicity is what makes it so great, fancy multifunction lights with variable beam lengths and modes are prone to failure due to internal circuitry. This is the only light i have never had to warranty. side note... the bite cape does come off too easy and im not aware of a replacement, that's the only thing bad i can say about this light that could be improved upon. all things considered though i would recommend this light to anyone

I use flashlights for inspections at work and went through at least a dozen various brands and models looking for the perfect one to buy my team. I settled on this one and do not regret it one bit! The soft textured top and button is super convenient and has become one of my favorite features. The clip is strong and durable unlike the competitors. Best of all, the LED light is very bright and well focused for all sorts of tasks. The battery life is good, I use mine 5 days a week and haven't changed the batteries in over a month. Fantastic product at a very reasonable price.

As a residential electrician I find myself in dark places everyday. This light has become an absolute essential part of my ecd. It's very compact, lightweight and most importantly, the light color is very easy on the eyes. However, the clip needs to be beefed up a bit. I haven't even gone through my fist set of batteries and it has snapped off. Caught on something as I started to kneel and it just snapped. Not having the clip makes this a far less convenient tool as its difficult to dig out of my pocket with gloves on. Bottom line- I would still recommend.
