The durable PACKOUT tool case with customizable foam insert is constructed with impact resistant polymers and metal reinforced locking point. The tool case connects with other PACKOUT system components via integrated locking cleats and features a 75 lbs of weight capacity. An IP65 rated weather seal protects tools and accessories from rain and other jobsite debris and the included customizable foam insert allows users to trace and cut out custom pockets to securely transport and store tools.

Totally awesome!!

I bought this tool case in a set that included the Gen III impact and hammer drill and it’s been a totally awesome addition to my Packout collection. The inserts allow for both tools, a charger, and the handle for the hammer drill. I originally had the same set but with the hard case they sell in store, but once this came available I immediately purchased it as I was looking to add this size tool box to my collection. Very durable and does a fantastic job of keeping my tools organized!!

I bought two of these for my diagnostic tools

So far it is exactly what I needed. I bought two of these and watched a couple of videos on how to trim up the foam, seemed pretty straight forward. The first one I carved out was a bit of a mess and then I tried some thing different on the tpms scanner. I traced it out cut the perimeter out and then basically diced up the center that’s going to be removed and it made it 100% easier to remove the sections of foam I needed to remove

I was finishing a job and loading my stuff on truck forgot tailgate was down . Lost box on freeway at 75mph another driver stopped and picked it up opened it and saw my business card called me to get my tools. I had no idea I even lost it. When I got it back there was only a few scratches on it I was so happy I didn't lose anything and my box survived Houston traffic. Great product I will get more

If you have different types of power tool for different applications that come with there own battery/charging kit, this is what you need if yoi are the organizing type. I'm a electrician for 7 years and this case serves me well on the job site and keeps my tools organized and portable. I will definitely order at least 3 more in the future.

Wish the lid was stiffer

I bought this as a gun range box. Since I keep it in my vehicle I lock it up. But even with a padlock in place you can easily bend the top back and reach inside. I also have the 48-22-8424 box and it's lid is much stiffer with a snap-in plastic insert inside. But that insert won't fit this 48-22-8450 lid, (I tried).

This specific case will be, I think, the most popular of the bunch because it can be customized for specific power tools such as Jigsaws, Drills and Sanders, of all types and sizes that will fit inside. I have one and I'm totally blown away by the quality and durability of this box.

The case is heavy duty the insert is a fail. The insert is two pieces nothing lining the bottom or cover. so your tools bang against the bottom and the cover. Please send the foam layers unglued, it would make this piece 100% better
