Disgusted
I wish I had read the 1 star reviews here before buying this product, at the advice of a Milwaukee salesman. I had purchased the 3 drawer box for my wife to house her veterinary supplies, and needed a way to mount it.
Sadly, the top shelf, where it would be handy to put smaller packout cases to be pulled down from above the drawer box cannot be mounted with the three drawer box in place.
The last time I was this disgusted by a Milwaukee tool it was by the junk 10 in 1 screwdriver they released a decade ago, and I haven't bought a screwdriver or pliers of theirs since. Now, I might be done buying wall mounted storage from them too.
No, I do not recommend this product.

not sure
they don't show or tell you that the shelf has to be bolted to the arms.when I was putting the rack up I noticed that the shelf slid off the brackets which means when you put you storage box on it then pull it out, there is nothing to keep the shelf in place. when I went on line to check it out I see the pictures showing the shelves are bolted to the brackets. you would think for the price you pay for these you would get some bolts. now I have to go to the store and buy some. unless mine were shorted in the packing.the box didn't look opened. there wasn't any instructions either.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not Built For 12" or 16" On Center
I'm already deeply invested in the Packout system and I bought this to start mounting my organizers horizontally instead of vertically on a wall plate. Upon taking the kit out of the box and looking at the install instructions, this system requires the rails to be mounted 18" on center. This is crazy to me how it is not either designed for common 16" OC or 12" OC spacing as anything is built to in North America. For the price I'll be bringing this back and fabricating my own shelves.
Other than that, the setup seems to be well built. The E-Tracks are made of thick sturdy metal and I have no doubt they can handle the 50lb rating per shelf. Just not a fan of it missing the mark of being able to mount to the studs.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Trailer organization
I bought a new contractor's trailer and put the Milwaukee pack out shelving system in the front. Absolutely love how quick it is to get tools in and out my guys love it for the convenience and easiness of finding what you're looking for and then putting it back at the end of the day. This really took my already amazing trailer to a whole other level. It's great when it's open just how many people slow down stop looking it or ask about it and are really impressed with how great it looks!!!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice shelving. Almost!

I purchased two of the two shelf racking kits model 48-22-8480 and planned on setting one up a 22 in. 2-Drawer Tool Box model 48-22-8442 on the bottom shelf as I am mounting them above a toolbox workbench. I found that the 2-Drawer Tool Box would not fit unless I raised the top shelf extraordinarily high and lowered the bottom shelf so that the adjustment screws were not lifting at all. It would be great if the the E Tracks were 22" instead of 20" Now I'll have to buy another set of the 20" E Tracks and have to remount everything. I would also suggest a modification to to E Tracks by making them wider with the addition of another set of holes on each side to allow for mounting on a wall with 16" on center studs. I was able to mount one E Track to a stud and with the other I had to use toggle molly bolts.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Pack out Drawers do not fit Racking Kit shelf
2 years ago
I purchased the two shelf racking kit with the intention of fitting the drawer on the bottom shelf. The way my shop is organized I cannot install the drawer on the upper shelf.
I agree with the previous review about if the wall mounting bracket was one slot larger the drawer would fit. I appears there is not a longer wall bracket offered. Very disappointing considering how well other Milwaukee are designed.
I considering returning the rack system.

Great product pictures appeared deceiving to me

Great product
I’ve got it mounted and am able to go through my service boxes while still mounted.
The only disappointing part was all the pics seem to be mounted with the wall mount making it appear as though the shelves fold down. I thought they would lay like the wall mount and would blend in
Overall I’m pleased as punch with them and can’t wait for the new double stackable rolling box
Yes, I recommend this product.

PACKOUT Drawers Do Not Fit
I purchased this setup with the intention to buy two Milwaukee PACKOUT Drawer units. After bolting this unit to its location, I purchased the two drawer units (48-22-8442 x2) and found out they do not fit on the bottom shelf. Why would Milwaukee not make this go one e-track hole higher to allow the drawer units to fit. So frustrating and very disappointed
