M18 & M12 18 V/12 V Rapid Charge Station

I've got a lot of Milwaukee M18 and M12 power tools, and have just as many batteries. Having a single charger that can simultaneously rapid charge both 12 and 18 volt batteries (up to 3 simultaneously) using only a single electrical outlet plug is awesome. Really comes in handy during fall leaf cleanup when my Milwaukee M18 blower is eating through batteries. No more waiting for batteries to charge, or clutter from multiple chargers. Couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. My only suggestion is to have the handle parallel with the base instead of perpendicular - would make wall mounting a little more sleek.

I set up the Rapid Charge Station in the morning and everyone on site loads it up throughout the day. This charger is essentially 3 Rapid chargers in one shell. (IE each bank has an 18V and 12V port that are sequential but all banks run simultaneously for 3 batteries charging at any given time.) Both the 6-pack 18V and 4-pack 12V are standard output chargers and sequential. Rapid charging is a must for the XC 5.0 and higher packs (XC 6.0 and HD 9.0 packs will be available soon!) Bottom line, stop thinking about it and go buy it. You will not regret it, and your coworkers will love you too, assuming they use Milwaukee tools as well. Just be sure to label all of your batteries! ;-p

This charger is the only way I can keep up with the power demands of my M18 cordless wet/dry vac. I use it to clean HVAC ductwork and coils where a corded vacuum just isn't feasible. The vacuum chews through 4.0 and 5.0 pacs like crazy..... but this charger keeps up with the power demands. It takes THREE dead 4.0 or 5.0 packs to full charge in about 15 minuets. I have 2x 4.0 batteries & 2x 5.0 batteries.... I haven't had to stop and wait for a fresh pack once since I bought this charger. Do yourself a favor, ignore the price and just buy it.

This charger is our only tool we use in the field with a cord on it. We have been using our Rapid Charge Station for several years keeping our jobsites running smoothly. Having 3 banks of simultaneous rapid charging is game changing. The passthrough cord is nice too when outlets are limited. We are really hoping for an update with USB charging slots for all of personal lighting and heated gear. Packout compatibility would be welcome in an updated product as well.

This charger is the perfect site tool. The three bank capacity is ideal and since putting it in use, I have never had an issue with battery capacity on site. I use M18 and M12 tools, mostly M18, and this has no problem keeping ahead of my demand. I love this charger and highly recommend. Regardless of the battery usage, I have not come close to exhausting my battery capacity. One job site concern completely eliminated.

Pros: Great charger, like that it simultaneously charges up to 3 at a time. Cons: - No voltage protection on any Milwaukee chargers to protect the charger and batteries from brownouts and spikes. We just went through a storm and lost this charger and another rapid charger and the batteries on it. One charger started on fire, thankfully we were working in the shop when it happened! Don’t leave your chargers plugged in anymore until Milwaukee can assure us of incoming power protection! Wishlist: - Not pack out compatible but is lightweight and easy to carry. Adding the pack out system will add to its utility. - Add 12V DC vehicle charging option port for permanent vehicle mount and removable plug for on the go (leaving DC plug in vehicle). This will also allow for other third party methods of charging in a pinch such as solar. - Add USB-C port for aux charging

Having a single rapid charger was just not enough for me especially being on a farm when you need a power tools and all of your batteries are down for charging something got to go. That’s when I made the move to purchase the power station, it only charges one at a time but I’m ok with it and would recommend it to anyone that uses Milwaukee power tools. Definitely works well and quick!

I did my research before purchasing a multi port charger- I almost bought the six pack 18v sequential charger that individually charges each battery (one finishes before the next starts) this one- will do all the 18v first, moving to the 12v. But will do all 3 on each side at the same time. (So all 18v at the same time, then the 12v at the same time) we had 2 6ah and a 8ah 18v - and 2 3ah and a 1.5 12v. All from dead were totally charged in about an hour. We use this all the time. It has a pass through plug at the head side so you could plug 2 of these into one outlet, and not loose plugs (if you absolutely needed to plug something else in) great design and quality. It’s large, but not HUGE. It has to be able to comfortably fit 3 12ah 18v and whatever the largest 12v they are making now. I would compare it size wise to a standard size mailbox maybe a little smaller. It has a nice handle, easy to move, and again- not overwhelming
