Awesome Brush Cutter
This Brush cutter works Great! My gas trimmer died while trimming electric fence lines on a pasture that hasn't had animals in for for 4 years. There were willows the width of my thumb, and everything else you could imagine. This Brush cutter went through it all and made short work of everything in its path! Excellent Tool

Tough must have for land management
I’ve used the brush cutter for about 4 hours total and really been happy with its abilities. I’ve even used it to go chop down 3-4 inch sweet gum trees, although that is a bit much. It does excellent on smaller saplings of all kinds and chews through woody weeds like nothing. Seems very tough. Very happy with this tool.

Buzz through yard weeds and saplings
Works like a Ginsu knife, cuts tomato's and cans!
Slash down weeds, vines, brush, 1.5” saplings, and moderate yard debris like a herd of hungry goats. Get a a bigger battery, i used the one from my 12” chopsaw (9.0ah) and it’ll run over an hour on high setting, buy extra blades, this thing is great.

Value added attachment - the Quik Lok brush cutter head has been a great money making addition to my collection. The four tooth blade included instantly levels wet, tall grass and saplings where my line trimmer taps out. This brush cutter has a permanent place on the truck.

The machines are light weight and works according to description. I have used milwaukee tools to assist with clearing tall grasses, himalyan blackberries, salmon berries and the saw blade for downed forest limbs. This review is only for the three days I have used them.

Works awesome, way better than string weed eater.

Torque blade to Specs. for best performance (in the manual). If it's slightly loose or too tight, it will vibrate too much or not cut as well. There are sensors in the motor housing that rely on this being torqued properly for best performance and smooth operation.

Impressed

Recently bought to cut down some hefty brush. Didn’t think it would be as efficient as it was. I was able to cut down brush as thick as 2” without any issues. If you got some brush that is harder to cut with a weed wacker. Definitely would recommend.

Great product run time less than expected.

Outstanding performance works extremely well for thicker longer grass. havent tried it on sticks or really heavy brush yet. giving 4 stars which is more related to the overall tool as the run time on the 8.0 amp hr battery i feel should be longer.

M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ Brush Cutter Attachment

Brush cutter works great. I used to use an attachment that had small blades, but had to replace the blades continually. This blade works well and can be sharpened. Another great tool to add to my growing arsenal of Milwaukee time-saving tools.

Brush removal

I needed to clear an overgrown area on the perimeter of my property and renting a large brush mower was overkill. This attachment did the trick. My only complaint is that it needed a good sharpening before it would handle the thicker stalks.

A "Must Have" for brush

This thing is a beast. If it's a half inch or smaller, it's going through like it's nothing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with the hip bar and a shoulder strap. Overall, this is a great addition to my Quik-Lok attachments.

Bye bye wild roses

Finally, something that cuts the tough stuff. No more weeds getting wrapped around a trimmer spindle because the string didn't cut them. This thing takes out wild roses and other thorns and thicker weeds that a string just can't handle.

Cuts through brush and bushes like butter. Instructions to install blade were a little confusing. What said was 2 pieces was actually 1 and spent some time looking for a piece I already had. Once i figured that out, all went smoothly.

Quik-lok brush cutter attachment

The brush cutter performs beyond my expectations. It eats through blackberry brambles and chews up small diameter saplings. The nut is left-hand thread (lefty tighty, eighty loosey) so that threw me for a loop the first time.

Worthy addition to the arsenal
'Bout ten years ago, we bought the 25 acres of bush behind our house (with 2 acres) in rural eastern Ontario. We're not clearing it, but we're creating trails and clearings. My wife is an herbalist (retired RN), so we're carving out some space for some of the herbs that she brings back from foraging expeditions. So it's chain saw, and tractor (Kubota B2601 with a Woodland Mills WC46 wood chipper on the 3PH), the Milwaukee M12 Hatchet pruning saw, and the Milwaukee QuickLok system - all the tools in our quiver. The 16-2738 Brushcutter is a welcome addition to our tool-treasury. The hedge trimmer can cut small stuff up to ~1" diameter, and the brush cutter can take out anything above that to prox 3"-4". Anything bigger we take out either with a brush grubber, or an occasional rental of a mini-excavator.
The brush cutter is just great in its target size range. I can cut down to ground level hardwoods, e.g., ash, oak, maple, and softwoods, e.g. cedar, spruce, and fir, and it just zips right through the wood. Definitely has its place in my inventory of possibilities.

When things get tough, break out the bad boy!

What a great addition to my grass and weed arsenal. When the string trimmer won’t cut it I reach for the bad boy cutter. It doesn’t use a lot of battery so you can cut for a long while. Should of picked one up sooner.

Awesome attachment! This thing handles thick brush much better than a string trimmer or hedge clippers. Comes with a bar that bolts to the handle of the power head that rests against your hip to control kick-back.

Works as you would expect from Milwaukee. Easy to attach, blade install is a breeze and it's quite durable. I've hit rocks, ground, barricades and it's faired well. Easy to remove the gouges with a file.

Not sure if it’s a defect but the trimmer lasts around 30 min then it starts turning off on its own I have to wait for like 40 min to use it again. I emailed Milwaukee to make sure it’s not defect
