If Milwaukee was a true innovator and leader, they would have adopted the superior retention mechanism that Bosch and Fein use. They would also add variable angle oscillation. Then they could justify the premium price.

Great tool, fills in the gap between a saw, knife and chisel. It is accurate, easy to use and the quick grab tool for the spot a larger tool just won't work. Multiple tips makes it universal for virtually all material.

Cuts great with # 49-10-9220 Oscil. Bit kit. A lot more quiet than the original M18 non fuel model. But I believe the original is smaller and more compact to some degree in the body of the tool itself. Length as well!

I believe this is the worst tool Milwaukee makes. The on off switch is obsolete and the battery on that the tool won't stand up on the battery seems weird. Just seems it could be off set a bit to allow cutting angles.

Worth the extra buck. Ergonomics and power are great. Does the job in two shakes. This is definitely better then comparable Dewalt or, obviously, the corded Mastercraft, which I both used in the past. 10/10 Milwaukee.

Been using the M18 Fuel Oscillating tool since it came out, and still love it's power and durability. Own 5 of them for my construction crews. The oldest is about 3 years old, and they definitely get put to the test!

Great tool for cutting plugs in to dry wall. Did scuff up the head pretty quickly that did surprise me. Love the quick release on the tool have taught 2 other coworkers about the function they where not aware of it.

Tool works well, went 4 starts due to the blade change design is sort of tough compared to others. Also the variable speed is by dial. But it works good, brushless has a good battery life and runs a little cooler.

All my Milwaukee tools are great products. I would ask that Milwaukee do a more broad research program as far as getting new ideas. Involve more of the everyday population and not focus so much on big contractors.

This tool is a beast. It cuts through anything I need it too like butter, and the auto mode is great for starting cuts accurately because it starts out slow until you need the extra power when you apply pressure.

Tool broke within months(within 1year)

Tool broke within months(within 1year). I cannot find were to register the tool and I am having issues getting a new tool u der warranty (cannot find where to contact due to multiple sites) I am leaving this review because now I have had to go purchase a new one due to the factI have 20+ Milwaukee tools and this is the second time this tool has broken within a year. I am a tradesman in the plumbing industry and would like if Milwaukee could reach out to me regarding this issue. I will still try other means of contacting Milwaukee. The other issue is if you are a full time worker and a tool breaks you need another that day. Then the broken tools it's I. Your truck for months because you cannot find how to resolve in a timely manner. Is it possible to return within the year to retailer. I was told by them it is only within the 90 day period unless I purchased there plan. I have purchased to many plans and do not use or forget when and where. Not all tools can be registered. How do I register ALL my Milwaukee products? Please contact. I apologize and Thank you for your time!

M18 fuel is a significant upgrade from the original non-fuel tool. Brighter light by a mile, absolutely no vibration at all compared to the original, slightly lighter, built in blade adapter is by far better.

Absolutely love this tool. We use it for everything. Love the auto detect feature so it knows how fast the blade needs to move based on the thickness of the material and how hard you are pushing. Its awesome.

Worked great, as expected for a Milwaukee product. Easily cut through some trim for accommodating some new corbels with different sizing. Liked the "clamp" style grip up front for better precision as well.

The quick release lever on top make it easy to change to another blade in seconds. There is omost no vibration witch saves your hands from getting numb. Simply a great tool with excellence in workmanship.

I’ve only had one little problem and it’s a little annoying, the battery slot is loose so the battery shakes as you use the tool, not a fan of that part, but other than that It’s amazing. Help Milwaukee?

Solid tool the only drawback i have noticed so far is how the blade attaches. I have a Fein corded multi tool and feel they have the best blade atttaching system. I would definitely buy it again though.
