M18 FUEL 18 V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Mud Mixer with 180° Handle - Tool Only

Mixed 60 lb. bags of concrete in a 5 gallon bucket, the Milwaukee Mud Mixer made quick work out of an annoying job (way easier than a wheelbarrow and shovel!) I highly recommend this product if you do much drywall, tiling, etc., but especially for mixing a bag of cement every so often it’s worth it for that alone. It still has an auto-stop feature if the torque is too much to keep it from mangling a hand, but it will really power through very heavy mixing still. My Milwaukee hammer drill auto shut off feature was too sensitive to mix even drywall mud but certainly wouldn’t mix concrete. Love this tool. It’s so simple otherwise it hardly needs more comment.

The mud mixer is an all around great tool with great consistent power, and very versatile in its capabilities. I am a floor layer and often times have to mix self levelling compounds to level out substrates, this mud mixer handles the compound with ease. I average about 50-55 (50lb) bags of self leveller per 12.0ah battery, which is great when having to pour dozens of bags in a day. The only minor issue that I have had to fight is the locking tab for the rotating grip is a hair too loose so it does need to have a finger kept over it when mixing. Otherwise, this tool has mixed over 200 bags without the slightest hiccup.

I have been a professional tile setter and general contractor for over thirty year now and have to say that this mud mixer from Milwaukee is an innovation that actually makes working out in the field easier. The motor is plenty powerful for handling anything I have already thrown at it and believe me, I was not kind to it. I don't abuse my tools but they have to work, and I have to know that they will work consistently. This mixer does it in spades. All the guts and quality of a Milwaukee tool without the flare the pretty boys want. Dirty, gritty, and it works....exactly what I want from my Milwaukee collection.

Purchased for a new bathroom renovation and laying down tile. Mixed through 4 buckets of thinset with no issues. Just pull the trigger, hit lock button then look at your time. Consistent mixing with little bubbles. Has some weight to it, but not heavy. Very quality tool like all my other M18 Fuel line. Had thought of using my cheap old drill, but found one at a good deal and rather have peace of mind knowing I was able to mix to thinset brands specs at exact low RPM. Would not hesitate to recommend to any DIYer doing any prolonged mixing.

I used to use a rigid corded mud mixer, and after I bought the Milwaukee super hawg I never used it again. Later I bought this mud mixer and there is no comparison. There inst a jerking motion you get with the rigid tool and its way easier to use than the super hawg. No contest this is the tool to use. I believe the gearing is different. It is so smooth and easy to use. The adjustable handle is amazing!!! One of my favorite features is you can lock the trigger which is so much easier on your hands.

I'm a contractor now for 48 years, and I've converted to almost all cordless tools. It is so nice not to have to find adequate receptacles, then roll out cords, hoses etc. This Mud Mixer really does the job, I love it. So for the tool, I give 5 stars. But for the homeowner bag, 0 stars. I know, your term is "contractor bag", but contractor and bag do not belong in the same description. A contractor wants to be able to store and stack their tools in an orderly manner, not just throw them in a pile as one is more or less forced to do if a tool is in a bag. Contractors need to be able to be productive, easily accessing their tools without having to dig through a disorganized pile. That's why I throw bags in the trash; they have no place in a contractors arsenal of tools and equipment.

I bought mine a month ago and in this short period of time I have beat the living snot out of it thinking it will give up but it JUST KEEPS GOING from Hot Mud to heavy confill to mortar and even concrete pair this with a 5ah battery and it literally mixes anything. I love the 180• handle especially when mixing heavy tile mortar as it is easier on the wrists to be positioned differently. The convenience of not being strapped down by cords everywhere is awesome and for the price cannot be beat

The “cordless” world that Milwaukee Tool is now dominating has done it again! Mud mixing without the tether of a power cord just adds to the necessary flow in prepping, mixing and applying plaster. Again, an important weapon in the Arsenal of gear I provide for my crew every day in the world of television and motion picture set construction. It’s benefits would surely apply to real world construction and I highly recommend this piece of gear to anyone who works with plaster or paint.
