A beast of a grinder

POWER and SPEED and no cords. This is my second grinder and my experience with my first made me want a couple more of these. They work awesome and have a great feel when using. Grinding, sanding, cutting they do it all and no tether to the wall. Get one and your life will improve.

easy to assemble, use and handle. Gets into every spot so far when I sharpen blades, clean welds and cut off metal when fabricating. Never slowed down or was under too much load. Battery kept up the whole time and never had to charge during manufacturing. Great product

I accidentally purchased the non-fuel grinder first....it was junk. I then bought the fuel version I meant to get originally and I love it. Exactly what I expect from my Milwaukee tools! Nothing stops this thing , all the power of my 110v but no cord in my way constantly.

I’m in the metal fab business, used the corded 8.5 amp Metabo paddle for last 15 years, I’ve worked this Milwaukee 2 days and it’s worked actually better than I hoped,convenient, comfortable and powerful , with the 5 year warranty, i can’t see goin wrong on this purchase!

This is the tool I’ve been wanting for a long time and it was worth the wait and the money. It’s balanced, powerful, smooth and not too heavy in the hand. Cuts through 8” cast without issue, handles every job i throw at it. Plenty of use out of a 5.0 battery. Recommended!

I really like the weight balance and the control. Safely triggers can really mess with usability but i like safety trigger on this. It seems like it was well thought out. It seems like it's got the power. I haven't given it a lot of use to test out the battery life.

Love my new grinder has way more power than the dewalt 20v grinder it replaced, and seems to be easier on batteries too they don’t come off dead as hot as the dewalt used too after being worked hard, love the spark catcher cup for guard when using cut off discs.

This is one of the best grinder that I have so far. It is quality built, runs smooth, no shaking, less vibration. I noticed that it is quite heavy for a little guy like me. Messing with the paddle switch is also a challenge, may be I just have to get used to it.

Annoying high pitch whine

I’ve yet to really see it in action, although giving it a whirl out of the box I was unpleasantly surprised to hear a high pitch wine when in use. Sort of loud and obnoxious compared to other grinders I’ve used, but if it performs well, I’ll put up with it.

This is a little bit more, but the rapid stop is nice. This is the second one I bought. I do a lot of metal work and don’t like changing attachments all the time so I bought a second one. It’s nice being able to lay it down and it stopping with in seconds.

This grinder is tough as nails. The last one went through the ringer, and this one has performed just as admirably. The added braking feature, which my last lacked, is very helpful for maintaining control of your cut. Another stellar design by Milwaukee.

I bought this because of the trigger in cold conditions work with gloves bad part is the dust in my environment seems to clog the filter or screen not Shure. now if you could find a place to store the wrench with the tool this product would be perfect.

Good handy grinder. Excellent for cost. The only complaints are: the gard does not rotate 360 and that limits your cutting angles. The big issue is the safety catch on the paddle switch is a pain and hard to use. It maked the grinder awkward to use.

The 4 1/2" Milwaukee angle grinder is the most powerful battery grinder I've used. It easily holds its own against my corded grinder. I think the only improvement that could be made would be to add a speed selector switch for sanding applications.

I'm impressed with this angle grinder. The balance is good and the motor powerful. I gave it a short test to see if It would bog down or the battery protection would stall the tool. As hard as I ground the work piece, I couldn't make the tool stall.

This grinder packs the proper power needed. I added this to my m18 collection as an add on and I'm glad I did. I have been using this in the shop more than expected. It's nice not worrying about cords laying around while moving things in the shop

I needed a new grinder after my corded one was toast. This Milwaukee grinder has been better than I thought. It’s great to not have to search for an outlet. This grinder is well balanced and has great power. Mine came with a 5 ah battery.
