Extreme abuse daily and it just keeps preforming!
I used this impact daily while cutting concrete for 3 years. At least 5 different times it's been dropped in concrete slurry fully submerged (once for more than 4 hours). Every time I've picked it up bumped it to shake out the excess slurry and it worked instantly! It's never fail to work even through working in extremely wet and dirty conditions both freezing cold and extreme heat. For those who don't know, concrete slurry is the mud created from running water on cutting blades during the cutting process. It's a fine dust with fine glass that burrows into the internal parts of equipment and tools and causes excessive wear and breaks the tools. But this impact just keeps going. It got to a point of begging to slow or seemed to have a short and I was ready to call it dead, I sprayed WD40 in it and it came back to life and hasn't stopped since. It's still working and has been one of the best battery tools I've ever owned.

Good little daily "driver"
Great little tool, nicely balanced and even with an 8AH battery not to heavy to keep on my belt as an all day goto. The only complains is that they do end up looking pretty beat up in a hurry. The Grey finish is quick to come off regardless of how much care and control is exercised is used. Regardless I would still recommend this and am quite happy with my purchase

Very happy with this impact

Awesome impact for lug nuts and other automotive use. Tons of power for the size. Definitely prefer the friction ring over the detent pin for quick socket changes, holds socket just as tight. Leds are very bright and placed in an effective spot. Considerably lighter than high torque model. From at home hobbyist to commercial professional this is a great product.

Better than ever!

Got this for automotive work and it is phenomenal! Haven’t had a bolt I couldn’t get loose with this yet! It is very quick and powerful, and much more compact than the last generation. In my opinion it is more powerful and quicker than the last one, but also more power hungry. I have no regrets buying this and look forward to my future Milwaukee purchases!

Great mid size impact for general maintenance
a year ago
I have the high torque impact and a 1/4" hex hydraulic driver. They cover both ends of the spectrum but sometimes i just needed that middle ground for 5/16-3/4" diameter hardware. Im very happy with its perfomance in that size range. I like the change toward the shorter body compared to the older mid/low torque 3/8 drive models. Overall does a nice job.

Best impact I have ever used
Used this for suspension work on my truck and it made short work of even the largest and most stuck bolts. The auto mode is pretty impressive. It will go full force to break the nut loose and then slow back down to get it off. Then when you put it back on it won't tighten, but just screw it on so you can torque it down. Overall I was blown away.

I use the mid- torque for just about everything automotive. The torque it supplies in the small sized package is amazing while working on salt rusted pick up trucks up here in Canada. I havent yet to find a bolt on a pick up that it struggles with or a spot that is impossible to get it into. It is my go to impact wrench for all things automotive

Great product

Love it. Used it as recently to remove my stepson's tire from his trailer and remove the lug nut with ease. The ONLY tools I ever use are Milwaukee brand tools and this gives me another reason to continue as well. P.s. just wish the m18 batteries weren't so expensive. I need to get a new 5-amp battery but with the holidays it will have to wait.

Great Tool
Great addition to my collection. The profile and weight are perfect for most jobs. I have the bigger version of this and sometimes it is too heavy and bulky to get around obstacles. This beauty nails it with a smaller profile and still enough torque to accomplish most tasks. Smooth operation and can hang on a tool belt without being a nuisance

Low install torque great for initial install.
While great for removing most nuts and bolts, low install setting is a time saver! Nice to be able to install well below final torques. Also nice to remove stubborn nuts and bolts BELOW the snapoff torque..lol. A mid torque is great for this. Of course you will need a nut buster, high torque impact tool as well for the off or bust mode...lol.

compact torque gun
this is a great compact tool. I've already used it for car lug nuts and fence bolts. Great torque, but mostly its cordlessness and compactness make it great for hauling around needed tools without excessive bulk. i've had my corded Milwaukee impact gun for years and its flawless, but this compact cordless model is a worthy mobile replacement.

More than happy
I am quite happy with this mid-torque. It has the grunt needed to remove what would otherwise be a real pain in the rear. The trio of lights on the perimeter of the anvil is quite helpful, providing a good amount of light for darker areas. Feels good in the hand as well. I would gladly recommend this for anyone looking for a quality impact.

If size matters then this tool will change your mi

I bought this to replace a corded impact wrench that I use for DIY type of work and vehicle maintenance. It was always a pain because of the cord and the big size. Moving to this made all the world of difference because I can get where I need to be without dragging around a power cord. First of many upgrades to my current tools to Milwaukee.

A compact, yet powerful 1/2 torque wrench.
The M18 Fuel 1/2 Mid-Torque Impact Wrench is a powerful and compact battery powered impact wrench. My ever growing M18 Fuel family needed something more powerful than the Surge impact driver for driving lags and tightening structural steel bolts. This tool delivers, plenty of power, small package and like all Milwaukee tools, well built.

Excellent tool!

Changing over to winter tires on my F-350 or wife's Civic is so much easier. Adjustable torque is accurate.
If I could make one small alteration it would be to have an adjustment to the length of time the LEDs on the front stay on. But then again maybe I should quit being so cheep and buy a Milwaukee freestanding light :).
CHEERS!

Great tool to get the job done!
This tool worked great at getting lug nuts off a bot trailer that is used in saltwater and had not had the wheels off in over 3 years. It also was able to break free the brake calipers and rotor bolts with ease. Trigger was easy to control and the adjustable torque settings were easy to cycle through. Definitely a great buy!

I’m not quite sure I’ll ever need to use a breaker bar on seized lug nuts again thanks to this phenomenal investment. I could also see me getting rid of all of my pneumatics, too. I was totally blown away by the build quality and will be investing in the full set in the not too distant future. Keep the great products coming!

product works well in our manufacturing facility . We use this for multiple applications from bolts and nuts on a tongue jacks to tightening axle brackets . Heavy duty enough to last through our fast paced manufacturing needs. We went from air powered to milwaukee battery powered and wont look back . A step up in my opinion

First Impact
I always wanted a cordless electric impact - I did the research and decided I couldn’t go wrong with the Milwaukee Fuel. After completing some suspension work on my car, I’m not sure how I ever got by without it. Absolutely love it, it has been a great investment and I’m looking forward to many years of service from it.

Great compact tool
This was my first impact and I couldn’t be happier. I bought it mainly for the removal of tires and the different modes are great for that. The auto setting is pretty nice as it gives full torque on removal but slows down once it breaks the bolt loose. The reverse allows you to snug the bolt without over torquing.

Wow. So much power in a small package.

Purchased thisto be a smaller lighter alternative to my m18 brushed high torque. Didn't expect it to replace it altogether, but it is more powerful and much more convenient. Haven't found anything yet this couldn't handle. I am a diesel generator mechanic as well as a hot rodder. I am very pleased with this tool.

Good tool so far
So far, so good. I’ve only been using it about a week, but I’ve used it for mechanical maintenance on my truck and for locking shackles to pipe in my trade (plumbing), and the tool has served well for both applications. The removal setting with the feature that backs power off once a nut releases is very useful.

Amazing Tool

This has made a huge difference when changing tires seasonally. We have 8 sets to change every season. Without the Torque Wrench my husband was in extreme upper body pain every time. Even when spread over a number of days. This is a life saver. This is one of his "go to" tools whenever the situation arises.

Working well.
Excellent tool so far. Given 4-stars due to the slight difficulty the friction ring brings to socket management (putting on and taking off). This may resolve over time as the tool gets used. I have only used it (to this point) to insert and remove long lag bolts into framing and walls. No issues to report.

M18 mid-range impact wrench
I’ve been using impact wrenches for years in my businesses. This mid-range tool is by far the best I’ve had so far. The tool has a smooth action that I like, it doesn’t slam to a stop like the older yellow ones that I have, and the batteries are better than ever. I think I’ve joined the milwaukee eco-system.

Weight and balance feels great in your hand. Power is decent but this isn't even the strongest one they have. The one thing that was annoying me was the ring that holds the socket on is really stiff but I'm hoping that frees up a little after some use. Other than that, would recommend for medium duty work.

Energy saving tool
My British car restorarionist son in law loaned me his Mid-Torque for my weekend Subaru project and I found it took the knuckle busting out of tire changing. If I don’t get worn out with the heavy work, I can save my careful attention for the critical tasks. It is an indispensable tool in my DIY projects.

Great performance

If your going to use chrome sockets on this impact, the friction ring is not the way to go, the ball is a better choice, but thats my fault for getting the wrong one. Great impact with lots of power, the max 35ft/lbs feature is awesome for reassembling engines that need to finished with a torque wrench.

Game changer!
Been eyeing one of these for years, mad at myself for waiting. Game changer. Finally had a project to justify it, doing a timing belt on a GX470 and it took the crank bolt out like it was hand tight with a fresh 6.0 battery. Was nervous it wouldn’t be able to break it loose, but it didn’t bat an eye.

Impressed

The first thing I noticed was the fitment in my hand when I pick it up to use. Also, the multiple torque/speed settings have come in more handy than I thought that they would. Finally, the led lights lighten up all around instead of just half the work area make it much easier to work under a vehicle.
