If the M18 8.0xc and The M18/M12 “Rapid Charge” charger was a mid 90’s WWF Tag Team and they had a match against “The RoadWarrior’s Hawk and Animal!” You obviously already know who would’ve won,,,,,,,,,
M18 8.0xc/Rapid Charger would’ve dominated them!
The Rapid Charge battery charger alone is an absolute must have if you work with M18/M12 tools. Its ability to fully charge the 8.0 M18 battery or the 12.0 M18 battery is a real game changer. The old days of having to wait 12-24hrs for lithium batteries to reach a full charge are ancient history.
The M18 8.0xc battery is an absolute BEAST! That’s all I have to say about it!

How hot is to hot ?

Received this battery kit with a trimmer blower combo. I'm very impressed with the trimmer and blower. Charging the battery generates a LOT of heat in the charger and the battery. I know its a rapid charging system so some heat might be generated but this gets REALLY hot it even smells hot and the charger makes a hissing sound..... So my question is how hot is to hot is this normal...............

I got this to go with the Fuel vacuum. works great on small clean ups. vacuumed most of my SUV before the battery needed a charge. rapid changer is in the box with my work cordless tools. so much faster then standard charger on site.

2 of my most favorite Milwaukee tools the battery is the best one I've used. So much power and not a ton of weight. The rapid charger is something every one should own. Charges my 8ah in less than 45minutes

Great battery. I dont use the charger because I have a 6 battery charger. The battery lasts a lot longer in my stand light.
