Switching over to Milwaukee tools but not this one

I am in the process of switching over to Milwaukee tools but not this one. The slide switch just meant that it just keeps running when you let go of the tool or it slips from your hand. This one fell about 4 feet and landed on the battery flipping it over onto a linoleum floor, because it kept running destroyed the flooring before I could even bend over to pick it up. That cost me way more than the saw would have. Glad I borrowed instead of buying. I like the variable speed paddle switch on my Yellow & Black, I let go and its off. Secondly It won't set standing up on the battery up like my Yellow & Black does, you must lay it down wasting more workspace.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Borrowed one from a mate, exceeded my expectations

We normally use our corded fein, but we had a large flooring job, lots of architrave to cut in. So I borrowed a mates Milwaukee cordless. All our cordless gear is Milwaukee, so batteries weren't an issue. Ran great, it has enough weight in the tool to deliver clean precision cuts. Cut through 100s of meters of 19mm tas oak architraves no problems. Only one little issue balance was a little off when using 9 amp battery. But that said your not dragging a cord around either. Will definitely be adding one to my stack. Keep your blades sharp and your batteries charged. Australian hardwoods will test any tool.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My new favorite tool!

I've used this tool for cutting wood, plastic, metal and ceramic tile. It's perfect for any situation where a sawzall, jigsaw, or skilsaw won't work; like if you need to cut 1/4" from the bottom of door trim to accommodate tile; or cut square holes in drywall. It goes through any material the blade is intended for with ease. NOTE: you have to handle it carefully for precision work. It cuts like crazy and can get away from you pretty easily. Keep a firm grip, and a close eye on what you're doing. This thing does work that no other tool will do, and is really well built. New favorite!
ProsGood Battery Life, Solid
ConsA Bit Heavy

Was a solid replacement

I've used a certain competitor tool for over ten years, was happy to see that the Red and white had one out. Especially since most of my tools, are cordless Milwaukee tools. About a month or so after I purchased the tool it would not lock the blade in place securely. It just shakes the holding mechanism loose after running for a while, forcing my guys to use the old corded competitor, which we had to start keeping on standby due to this issue. We have a Milwaukee repair center in our state, which hopefully they can fix since it still falls under the warranty.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I keep having to replace these

I really love using this tool but the lack of durability is terrible. I bought one; it failed in 10 months. Bought a second (I really like it, didn't want to be without it) and sent the first one in for a warranty replacement. I've since sent 6 of them back as each replacement fails within a year (even while rotating 2 through). This is not OK, tolerable only because the warranty replacement is easy and relatively quick. They say a brushless fuel version is on the way and I am SO ready for it; hope they worked the problems out before releasing it..

Yes, I recommend this product.

A Must Have

The Milwaukee Multi-Tool is a tool every home owner or DIYer should have in their collection. The functionality it offers can't be beat. From sanding to cutting no job is to tough for this tool. It's 12 speed variable control assures you have the right amount of power from start to finish. The tool is easy to manage and has little to no vibration. Te quick change, no tool function is an added bonus. It's compatiable with most of Milwaukee's 18V batteries. One you use this too, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I will not buy another of these..

Let me first say I own at least 30 M18 cordless tolls and 12 M12 Cordless tools. I have only had probels with a couple of those tools. However, I have purchased 2 of these the last 2 years and both have quite working. I have a 3rd in the M12 version which is starting to have issues as well. I cannot recommend Milwaukee's multi tools. I have not taken advantage of the warranty due to the time vs cost of sending he products in. I will probably just switch to another brand for the multi tool.
