M18 18 V Lithium-Ion Cordless Hammer Drill Driver/Hex Impact Driver Combo Kit

It seems like the mating between the batteries and charger could use some design work. The tools I purchased came with two of the smaller 1.5AH batteries and right away one showed that it was defective. I tried connecting it multiple times without success and eventually tried charging on another Milwaukee charger I own with same results. I tried the other battery and it started charging. Once that battery was fully charged I tried to place it back on the charger and this good battery now said it was also defective. I eventually got both charged but its really tricky to finally get them charging. Haven't had this problem with bigger batteries. Contacted Milwaukee for help and haven't heard back for a couple weeks now.

My main gripe with these so far is that every time I try to put the battery on the charger, the indicator light on the charger flashes red and green and red, which is to signify a faulty battery. Sometimes if I press the battery in a little further, it tells me it's charging, but will then go back to flashing red and green again a few minutes later. I have 2 charging stations and seem to have the same problem with both, so either there is a design issue here or poor quality control. It's a shake because I like the drills otherwise.

I install fibre optic cables and these tools are great. I need to make holes in concrete and the drill does it with no hesitation. The 1/4 hex is mainly used for square bit screws and does a fine job. Batteries are lasting surprisingly longer than I expected and charge quickly. I use the included bag for everything else I use on the job and manage to make it fit. Overall very happy with the purchase.

This combo kit seems like a great deal and awesome technology. I like that it charges fast and easy to use but I am returning this tool kit because of two reasons: 1. No Hammer drill handle 2. The battery will not stay seated in the charger to charge. I have to push it down hard and even then with a slight bump it is enough to cause one pin the battery to loose connection and stop charging.

I purchased the combo kit, Impact Driver and Drill w/Hammer option. My only issue is the belt clip. The Impact driver came w/one, but the drill did not. It is very handy. The drill has a place for the clip to be attached. I don't know why it wasn't included. I have looked everywhere ... where can I get one?

Great power, Great battery life, lightweight !!! I am using this product to remodel my new home. The only thing I can say about it that is hardly negitive is that I wish the handle for the hammer drill was included in the combo kit, other than that, it's perfect.

Great value. Two tools, two 1.5Ah, batteries, charger, hammer drill and impact driver for only a few dollars more than a two 1.5Ah battery kit. The tools included do not have brushless motors but both perform very well.

First time owning a Milwaukee tool and very pleased with my purchase. Wish I had gone with the Fuel model but $ dictated otherwise at this time. Hoping that can change.
