M18 18 V Lithium-Ion Cordless Compact Drill Driver/Hex Impact Driver Combo Kit

One of my best purchases ever! My first rechargeable tools but certainly not my last. I have multiple corded Milwaukee power tools that I have had for year and absolutely love. I was reluctant to make the jump to rechargeable tools based on bad experiences many years ago. The M18 are “game changers” in my book. I decided to buy Milwaukee based on my experience with corded models. Both tools work great, the batteries last a long time, are easy to charge and are overall great tools that I am happy to recommend to anyone. I plan on buying more M18 tools and accessories to replace my existing corded models.

I was the Engineering Manager of an Industrial Automation engineering firm. I bought two of these kits for my crew. They are bullet proof. We would use them to run 300 - 400 self tapping machine screws into steel per day for weeks. This is the only set of tools I have used tht could keep up w/o thermal shut down or waiting on battery charges. The impact will run a #10 3/4 inch screw into steel in about 5 - 6 seconds. The brake stops the motor fast so you can reload another screw FAST. I bought a set for home as I could't stand my old Mkta. any more.

I purchased the combo , but I've returned it cause there was a problem with one battery. It doesn't charge and it blinks green and red just like the displays about the battery. They've exchanged a new one. When I got home I noticed the same problem, but I've tried removing it and putting it back. And wiggle it a little bit. Then it worked. So I'm not sure if it's the battery or the charger. I've already used it , I love it and it works really well. The reason why ive chose the brand it's because this is what we use at work and I'm really satisfied with the power and how it works. So all in all I'm happy and satisfied with the brand and item that I bought. Thank you for making great products. I hope you continue on developing it and new items. Thank you.

First I must say that this is my first battery powered tool set. That being said when I unpacked the set & went to charge the batteries, they were dead & would not charge. So I exchanged for a new set. After my first day of use with changing the driver bit only once early in the day. I was unable to get the bit out of the tool, neither could the store that sold if to me, They gave me a new driver. It also gets very tight almost to the point were I can't get the bit out unless I do it every 20-30 minutes

I have owned this kit for three years, now and it still performs like new. Even thought they are brushed tools they still perform like new. The quality is there and I have used these tools every day for prefect around the Farm and house, If doing big projects buy the xc 5.0 battery packs they last all day. Before I thought Brushed tools sucked compared to brushless, but Milwaukee has changed the brushed tool game and they will last a long time. Keep making good tools Milwaukee and I will keep buying them

This is my first Impact Driver and I would say Im quite impressive with the power of this compact tool. Areas of improvement would be the battey Mine came with the compact battery. I have purchased the Extended XC 4.0 battery which is great. and Overall Im very happy with this tool I use it alot around the house, car, kitchen, garage and it works well. I highly recommend this tool to everybody.

If you want the best this is the set to get i was blown away with the lighting on the impact driver and love the auto stop feature on the drill and most people don’t know but if you want to turn off the auto stop feature on the drill set the forward and reverse switch to the middle and squeeze the trigger five times fast and it will turn off the auto stop feature for the drill

It’s not the FUEL line and is powered as such. This set is comparable to the atomic set by dewalt, but is a bit larger and heavier. The tools are very well made and have a quality feel. Little touches like an all metal chuck and the ability to charge both battery types off of one charger are great. The only feature the drill/driver is missing the hammer function.
