Good drill but not a ton of tourqe if you need something with alot of power go to the brushless

Got this drill with the impact driver as a set. Works great, lots of power and nice and quiet.

I’m a long time Milwaukee tool owner and fan, starting with my first Magnum Holeshooter. My latest Milwaukee drill, a 2607-20 cordless hammer drill that I purchased to replace my Milwaukee 0210-1 Driver Drill has been a major disappointment. At first I was thrilled with the 18 volt battery technology and the features of my new 2607-20 drill, but after more experience with this drill, I became exasperated with its tendency to have the chuck loosen its grip on the drill bit or screwdriver bit. What seems to be happening is that when the trigger is released, the drill makes a noticeable “clunk” as the shaft lock engages. Then the inertia of the outer sleeve of the chuck tends to loosen the chuck. After a dozen or two of these trigger releases, the chuck opens up and the bit can fall out. I’ve tried tightening the chuck more firmly, but with my 62 year old hands this can be quite painful. My current project , finishing the interior of my workshop, I use the Milwaukee 2607-20 in high gear to drill pilot holes for wood screws, then I use my wife’s Makita drill/driver to install the screws. I’ve noticed that with her Makita, there is almost no “clunk” when the trigger is released, and no need to over tighten the Makita chuck, which is no strain to my hands. So far, the Makita chuck has never loosened its grip on a drill bit or screwdriver bit.
