M18 18 V Lithium-Ion Cordless 10 oz Caulk Gun and Adhesive - Tool Only

This gun works well but is quite big/long and heavy if you just want to use ordinary sized tubes of caulking. Ten oz tubes are the smaller, usual, ordinary size of caulking, but this gun is made only for 20 oz tubes of caulking or 20 oz sausages. It can be difficult or impossible to find many types of caulking in the 20 oz formats--whereas all are available in the 10 oz format. But I purchased it because it was readily available and 1/3 off, whereas the 10 oz guns were hard to find and expensive. I adapted it to work with 10 oz tubes of caulking by changing the metal disc connected to the plunger rod for a smaller disk that I stole from an ordinary cheap hand-driven 10 oz caulking gun. Once I did that it worked like a charm for the 10 oz tubes, but was longer and a bit heaver than it need to be. But it was cheap and readily available and I now have the choice of also using it with the 20 oz tubes of caulking or 20 oz sausages in the future. It would sure be nice if the manufacturer simply included the smaller plunger disc that would work for the 10 oz tubes, but apparently they decided not to for some reason.

This tool will amaze you. The selectable speed makes it versatile for any type of application. Heavy to some, but worth the effort!, compared to a manual gun.

Great and steady flow. Definitely saves my hand by not pumping the trigger on manual tool. Easy to adjust flow . It’s a bit heavy but is worth the trade off.

It’s a bit heavy but it makes life much easier especially when installing windows using urethane.

Its a good gun. Easy to adjust flow. Its good for adhesive but its it heavy for fine Caulking.

Never would have thought this would be such a time saver and prevent so much waste.

Milwaukee's M18 caulking gun gets the job done without your hand getting tired from constantly pulling the trigger on a manual caulking gun. The gun provides 950 lbs of force with a variable speed trigger and six different speed settings to help fine tune your flow rate. The collar on the gun rotates which helps to give you great control around turns. The carriage can also be changed between the 10 oz, quart, or 20 oz sausage barrels. The tool has an anti-drip function which instantly stops material from continuing to be pushed out. The tool weighs in at 4.9 lbs. I have to start with the reason why I took a star off and it's because there is no onboard cutter to cut the tube you are working with and no onboard poker to puncture the tube. I don't really see this as an issue if you are working a only a few tubes, but when you going to run through a ton of tubes, it becomes pretty inconvenient. I recently went through about fifteen 10 oz tubes of adhesive and I had my old manual caulking gun on hand to cut and pop the tubes before dispensing in my M18 caulking gun. The weight of the gun plus tube plus battery can be on the bit heavier side but I'm used to working with heavier hand tools so it is not much of bother for me, but I can see it being on the heavier side for many. Being that the gun is motorized, I do get a nice and consistent bead every time. Once you dial in the speed setting to what you need, you get the same consist bead as if you were using a manual gun but without all the trigger pulling. I read some review that talked about how long the gun takes to dispense, but my experience has been that once it gets going, no matter how many times I triggered and stopped, it was only a matter of seconds before it would come out again. It does a great job for what it was designed to do, but for the price I feel like Milwaukee can include the cutter and poker.
