The charger holds up to 6 batteries at a time, and charges them sequentially, one at a time. The charger also offers a compact design, integrated hang holes for vertical mounting, and a pass through plug to conserve outlet space. The new unit will charge M18 compact batteries in 30 minutes, and extended capacity (XC) batteries in 60 minutes.

Great Charger but..............
As a avid DIYS-er, I use my Milwaukee tools mostly around the house and in the garage. Currently renovating my kitchen. Its a great charger...its very convenient to hold all my batteries at once. But.....it only charges ONE BATTERY AT A TIME! Given that, wouldn't it be better if you added more single chargers so the batteries are charged all at once? This charger is useful for charging overnight but when you have a need for more than just one battery that is fully charged....you are then swaping the one battery from tool to tool until another single battery is charged. That's why it has 3 stars. Make a charger like the previous generation NiCad 3-bay charger that charged the batteries concurrently!!!

Perfect for a crew
Just got it in this week. Ordered it through Northern Tool. Replaced the power strip and the multiple of chargers the safety department complains about. Now the entire crew has batteries ready to go while we use a variety tools when we start up. As long as it is kept loaded we are not waiting on anything. In the concrete industry you know you have the right tool when they hold up in this environment. With rechargeable in heavey use you need batteries on standby. This fills the need. If you are using more than one or two tools at a time this is a must. Can't find any down side !

Great to have for multiple batteries
We use the M18 cordless vacuums for work in areas where power outlets are far and few (and to save time because we move around fast). We have 9 batteries and two vacuums which we use over a period of a couple hours. When the guys are done they put 6 of them on the charger and we will have them all ready again for the next night. If you need them all done in a hurry it is not ideal because it is sequential, but at least you can toss them on and forget about it. No need to baby sit the charger and keep swapping out batteries. It does exactly what it says and needs to do.

Great to have on the site

Got this charger so we didn’t have to have 6 separate chargers and power strips all over the place. It makes charging batteries very convenient. As far as people complaining about it not charging all at the same time well that’s not an issue for us. We use everything from the 2ah batteries right up to the monster 12ah Depending on the job and tool we’re using. I find that by the time one dies we have another ready to work so it’s not an issue. I’d suggest stepping up to a more powerful battery so by the time it dies your other is ready to go. I liked it so much I got the m12 version because we run m12 tools as well and we kill those faster than the m18 batteries. That one works great as well. Just my 2 cents. Great job Milwaukee.

i don't get the one star reviews
got this just because i have a bunch of Milwaukee cordless tools and I like having THE BEST cordless equipment you can buy. works exactly as it should. I don't understand the dudes leaving one star reviews because it only charges one battery at a time... it says SEQUENTIAL right in the name of the product, they must not know the meaning of the word I suppose. As an engineer I would have to guess that if if charged 6 batteries at once it would take a whole day to charge them all at once. whereas one at a time will charge them significantly faster.

Great addition to the collection.
Adding this charger to the collection has been a huge help. With the work I do, I am changing tools often and there is not much more inconvenient than not having all of the batteries I need charged and ready to go. Not only does it make keeping up with the batteries I need easy by holding 6 at a time, but it’s a big time saver by not having to remember to stop and switch batteries from a single charging station. I highly recommend this charger to anyone who uses multiple tools per day.

Power Needed Power Added

This charger really saves a lot of time from having to watch smaller chargers finishing the charges and then swapping the batteries . Just fill the charger and let it do its thing . It is a little slow for the larger batteries but works amazing on the 2ah, 3ah, and 5ah batteries I put on it . Wich seems to be the most used batteries for on small drills, multi tool and lights . Its a great compact device vs having 5 or 6 other chargers getting plugged in all over the place !

handy transport & storage
I assume I'm going to need 3-4+ batteries on a multi-hour project. Generally, that means at least 2 batteries should be in the charger. Transporting & storing batteries is awkward. This very compact charging station makes it easy. I also have the V28/V18 3 bay charger. It charges all 3 batteries together AND conditions the batteries so I just leave batteries in it all the time. I'd love to buy a similar unit for the M18 series. Batteries are a significant investment.
ProsCompact, Easy To Use, Holds 6 Batteries, Plug Thru Plug
