It's the Sun's little brother
I've had this for a couple of months now and it never ceases to amaze me when I turn it on. I work night shifts so it's always dark and measuring and cutting material is way nice with this thing, I usually just use the magnets and stick it to my work truck (it holds it weight surprisingly well) and work away as if it were the middle of the day. I also rock climb at night a lot and this thing lights up a whole climbing wall easy whether I put it on the ground or clip it to a rope and let if hang off the top of the cliff (looks about as bright as a street lamp) it does it's job perfectly. And with the big batteries it always lasts several hours on full blast. One of my favorite buys especially for the price.

Always in my eyes
The unit sits at a upward angle, which for some reason just always seems to be in my eyes. It has magnets on the back which could be more powerful, but are still handy. It also has a spring loaded pull out clamp which makes it handy to clam on to 2x4 rafters and so on. No swivel ability. 3 brightness level and very bright makes this an excellent light for a pitch black room. When it comes to flood lights I don't recommend the M12 units, get the M18 for longer run time. As far as batteries go get the 6.0 or all you'll be doing is swapping out batteries.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bright light with problematic switch
Good amount of light for the size of the flood light, and fairly long run time with extended batteries and medium brightness setting. A bit difficult to remove the extended batteries compared to regular. While I've had in for a while, just started using it heavily for lighting attic and crawlspaces in remodel. The switch has started acting up and I have had to press it as many as 76 times to get the light to turn on! Just took 14 presses to get light to turn off. There is no visible damage to light or switch,

Big waste of money
The designer of this tool has obviously never been around construction or even talked to construction workers. Otherwise they would have designed it like the m18 model that has a swivel light. The mounts are great except for the fact not every anchor point is going to shine the light in your direction. Extremely unsatisfied the biggest waste of money I have ever experienced. You should fire the designer of this product and higher someone who has actually picked up a hammer before!

One of the best tools in my Bag
Bought this over a year ago and it has never let me down. I do a lot of work in commercial kitchens where the lighting isn't great and there is grease and water everywhere. It is perfect for having a light inside an oven to change a motor or for finding what's leaking under a dishwasher. The LEDs are fantastic and having 3 settings is great. Only drawback is that it eats up the small batteries in a real hurry, even on the lowest setting.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for plumbers

We've been using this light for the last few years and have been extremely happy! Easy to stick it to the side of a heat pump when working on a water heater in a tiny mechanical closet. Or under a house for task lighting while repairing a leak. The magnet is strong enough that it hangs vertically on the metal racks in my work van, it's never dislodged from rough roads but easy enough to pull off when you grab the handle on top.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Can't use the handle because the battery blocks it
a year ago
i use the light in multiple areas from working on cars to going to the barn to letting my dogs out at night. The light output is no where close to the search light but my biggest complaint is the space between the handle and the battery. Who was this designed for? My wife has small hands and can't use the handle as intended. Not well thought out. Could be a good light but I can't recommend it.

No I would not

Initially the light worked great, but then the power button began to fail. Just after only 2 months of use I had to press the power button several times to turn it on and several more times to turn it off! There is no visible damage to the button. It just recently quit working...I now use it as a paper weight for my electrical wiring plans!
