The MILWAUKEE M12 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT CP2.5 Battery Pack delivers 25% more power and runs 25% cooler than other Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM CP battery packs. This increased performance of the lithium ion battery gives you the same power and runtime of a MILWAUKEE M12 REDLITHIUM XC battery in a lighter and more compact package. The 12 volt battery pack delivers fade free power and runs substantially cooler through demanding applications, allowing you to push your cordless power tools throughout a wide range of applications.

Not sure until I get more use

I purchased the 2.5 Amp and 5.0 Amp and after charging both to full charge I attempted to use them the very next day.
The 2.5 Amp battery will not function at all in my M12 Fuel Oscillating Multi Tool. It won’t do anything except cause the battery lights to flash rapid.
The interesting thing is I tried it in my
M12 Fuel Compact Impact driver and it functions fine. I’m trying to be objective and not just say they’re poor quality but at the price point of this product line I am disappointed that I’ve got to go through the process of getting a replacement.

this is all i use,.. over the past couple of years ive migrated from m18 to m12,.. m12's are awesome tools, lighter, almost as powerful, lighter.. did i mention they are lighter? after 30+ years of going from heavy tools to light tools, these are perfect.. and of all the m12 batteries, this 2.5AH High Output is the best.. small, light and powerful.. more powerful than the bigger hunky 5AH.. its all i use

Works great in a manufacturing setting

We have quite a few of these batteries on the floor, around 100, and we have yet to send a single one back to warranty. The new plastic is miles ahead of the old plastic, it definitely stands up to a drop, the new plastic clips are also have yet to break on any tool on the floor. All batteries have held a charge so far! The only thing that could make this product better could be a cheaper price tag.

I LOVE these batteries! I have the m12 1/4” hex right angle tool that I use constantly all week at work building mobile medical units. I have very little room to work. These 2.5 batteries last all week, providing all the power and not need charging until the weekend. They keep your tools compact yet provides the power.

Compact power to get the done. Don’t let its size fool you. It’s always nice to have a few extra of these floating around in your packouts. The weight savings alone Is enough reason to purchases this. Go ahead and grab a few of these, you can thank me later.
